Great little light but also too heavy for its size. Perhaps stronger magnets would help. I love how bright it is. I almost always keep it on low just keeps battery lasting longer. Being able to recharge it is great similar to charging your phone. Always carry it in my tool pouch. Has yet to let me down

I use this light at work and it works well but has broken twice in a week. Light recharges fast and love the light output. I dropped the light last week from about waist high and the black magnet/ pocket clip broke off. I was able to glue it back on but unfortunately dropped it again today since the magnet is not very strong and the magnet cover on that same black magnet/ clip broke off. I guess the impact resistance of the entire light could be better. Light still works and lens hasn’t cracked yet but I don’t know if I would buy this again. If Milwaukee redesigns this without the pocket clip and makes the body stronger, then I would consider buying it again.

I bought the light last year and it is not let me down. The brightness with the compact size is fantastic for being in panels, ceilings attics. The battery life is great and being able to swap and battery quickly and charge the other with a USB setup it perfect.

The magnets are weak, especially the magnet in the clip. My unit would not stick solidly to any flat vertical surfaces. The clip eventually broke off on my unit. The light is bright and durable, except for the clip. If Milwaukee would make the magnets and clip stronger I would purchase this light again. I’m a transit coach mechanic, so this was my go to light in tight spaces. If I had a flat level ferrous metal surface to mount it to, it was great. This unit stood up well to drops, and the battery would last me the two hours until break time or lunch when I would recharge it.

The milwaukee pocket flood light is a great light although a little pricey. It has excellent usage when doing close confined work in electrical equipment, car repair, any task which you need a direct light source.

I own two of the Rover pocket lights. I work in property maintenance and use this light everyday. In fact I use it so much I bought a second so that I always have a fully charged light on hand. I will agree the magnet on the long side tends to be weak, but the end magnet hold firm weather to a water heater or electric panel, it holds firm. It’s also supper handy for picking up screws off the floor. My first one has developed an issue after over a year of use the switch is acting up. I have to click it twice to turn it on and off. I will be testing the warranty and see if I can get it resolved. Bottom line… I will most likely buy a third one of these, I like them that much.
