Another Great Milwaukee Product! This light is great. The compact design makes it so much more versatile than similar products. This light folds down small enough to fit in the trunk of a car or even a backpack. The light has a handle for carrying and feels like you are carrying a suitcase.Holds two batteries so the light runs for hours and hours.Extends to almost 6ft and stays extremely stable. The light is BRIGHT, as bright as many three light counterparts from other manufacturers.Bluetooth works flawlessly. Light up your jobsite in the morning without having to fumble around in the dark to plug thigs in.WATERPROOF, work in the rain or in damp crawl spaces without having to worry about damaging your light.

I’ve tested two high end Milwaukee lights in the past few months. A floor model and this telescoping. Different applications for sure. The floor mount can cast a 360 degree field, which this is directional. I used this recently in the house to sure up squeaky stair treads, elevating the telescoping head as I ascended. Turned down the brightness for reduced glare. I would this light when working on a single plane, such as a wall, versus a room renovation. Basic operation is a bit tricky, as unlocking the head while holding the base down and lifting the head really is a three-hand process to eliminate struggling. Once open it’s intuitive and very functional. Great quality construction and materials. Second to none, just as with my other Milwaukee tools. Good quality light output and the legs can be locked in various positions to adjust height and account for the terrain. I do wish I could plug this in. It’s just nice to have the option like the other unit that I have from them. It’s difficult for me to tell you whether it’s worth spending the extra money for the pro features on this light. The app is free and certainly fun to be able to connect to the light and control it or lock it, but I don’t need those features. Reporting it stolen? Same thing really, as all my work is on premises. Clearly these features have added quite a bit to the cost of the light, so if you don’t need them, consider a cheaper version of the light as they appear to be the same quality, just w/o hi tech add-ons.

This is the strongest, most well-rounded cordless/portable light I ever come across. It’s really something to behold in action. What I like:• The stand is simple to use and manipulate. It folds up nicely (making it also easy to store away) and it’s easy to carry either by the handle or the included shoulder strap. • The head (light) is easy to rotate and aim where needed. It also holds in place once you set it.• The light output is truly amazing. This will turn night into day like no other portable light I’ve ever used. Check out the included photo of the oak tree with the moon behind it. • Battery life is reasonable. I ran this for about hour on high and my battery life indicator on my battery only dropped two bars. I was also using an older battery and it still was efficient. That pleasantly surprised me.• Everything is sealed up tight. Rain or snow and this should run with the wiring full protected.• 1-key is a nice function. You can adjust the light with it from your phone and track usage. Great tool for pros or average folks.• You can adjust the light output to 3 different levels on the unit.• It feels/looks tough and should be able to withstand some moderate to significant abuse.• I found no defects or quality issues on my light. What I don’t like:• It’s somewhat heavy, but that weight is also makes it more stable. Give and take on that.• From a cost perspective it’s on the higher side. However, if your line of work or lifestyle requires this type of light output you can’t really do any better than this light.• Would be nice if you could also plug this in with a cord just as a backup in case, however with higher output batteries it might not be an issue. It sure looks like this is built to last for the long run. If you are willing to pay for the best you will not be disappointed. This will quickly become a valuable part of your tool collection. I recommend.

This lamp is awesome! I was excited at getting this (even though I needed to get more batteries) because I just completed a shed in my backyard and the electrician is a couple of months from installing the power. Here are the details I noticed about this light:• It folds up into a compact, easy to move (briefcase sized) unit which can be slung over the shoulder.• It can work on one or two 18v Milwaukee batteries. • The batteries are in a “sealed” door on the unit. It looks like this will keep the water and dust out. • The arm is extendable and can reach about 5’ high. • The light at the end of the arm can be rotated to the optimal position. • It is dimmable to several positions, especially of controlled from the one-Key app.• It can be controlled from afar (within Bluetooth range) via the app on a cellphone. • It is very bright on full power (don’t look into the light!) and can be very soft on the lowest setting. • At the lowest light setting, it will stay on over a day! This is a great light for the professional who needs portability, long life and bright light to work with. It is also One-Key compatible which means that it can be tracked, locked and unlocked from a cell phone. Through the app, you can also list it as missing/found.

Let me first say that I did not personally purchase this light. I was opportunity to pick on up at no cost to me presented itself and I did. I will say if you had asked me before hand if I would spend this kind of money on a work light. I would have told you a quick no. Simply because I dont look at a product specifically by price, but instead I choose products based on if I feel I am going to get my money worth out of that product and I never would of though I would get my moneys worth out of a work light in this price category. I was absolutely wrong though. So much so that I am purchasing another one of these lights, because I absolutely love it. With the quality and wide variety of battery operated tools Milwaukee produces that work on the same batteries. I have become a big fan of Milwaukee. This Rocket Tower Light is the epitome of what I have come to know and love about the Milwaukee brand. Quality built, versatile tool, in a small, mobile package. When it comes to tools. I tend to find favor in the simplest features, and my favorite feature of this light is that it folds up into a fairly flat rectangle. It makes it easy to carry around and it makes it very easy to store. As it can go on the shelf with everything else rather than having a dedicated place for it. At its tallest the light is just under 6 feet. Plenty of height for most jobs, but if you need more height the legs fold in flush with the base, so its easy to sit the light on top of something. With its 3 light output settings the light can be used in just about any situation. The light cant run on any of the Milwaukee M18 extended capacity batteries. So it can run on the 5.0, 6.0, and 9.0 M18 batteries. 7 hour run time on the lights highest setting with 2 of the 9.0 high demand batteries. With this light you have no need to worry about dust mud or water. Milwaukee states that the light can be submersed in up to 1 meter of water. I did test this out by filling up a container and standing the light up in about 3 feet of water and running it for an hour. It ran with no problems at all. The app is fairly simple to install and use. Shows you the batteries you have installed and how much charge they have left and allows for the remote adjustment of how much illumination you want the light to output. Most of all its a rugged build. Its not made of metal but in this case that is a good thing. For something that has to stand up to all types of situations metal can isnt always the best choice. Instead its made up of a dense and rigid plastic. Its not flimsy at all. I think I covered everything, but even if I missed something. Trust me when I say this light is worth every penny. This work light has so many uses its fantastic. Whether you want to just keep something around for a black out. Use it to work on cars, construction. Haul it up to the addict for instant lighting, or a couple of them up for a game basketball in the front yard with the kids after dark. Its great. Only thing I would change about it is. I wish there was some type of hard cover to go over the light itself. Just for added protection when storing it. Other than that I think this light is worth every penny for anyone finding themselves needed extra light to get the job done on a regular basis.

I’ve been using this M18 Rocket Tower LED light a ton on the job since getting it, and I have to say that I absolutely love it. Every other tradesman that has seen it has been totally blown-away with the amount of light it provides for its compactness when folded all up, for a battery-operated light, and for its versatility. Over the last couple of days, it’s really been a blessing on two jobs in particular:The first, I had a convenience store that had had its power cut by the local fire department, after a water leak under pressure in the utility room totally doused the circuit breaker panels. This tower light gave me more than enough light to do what I needed at those panels, while I used my other large Milwaukee cordless LED, the M18 Radius Site Light, to provide general illumination for myself and the plumber to get back and forth to our trucks through the pitch-black retail area. Then just yesterday, again, this awesome unit provided all the light I could have ever dreamed of from a cordless unit, while I had the power off for a couple of hours down in a windowless basement, upgrading a breaker panel. As far as the unit itself, it is definitely contractor grade, like all of the tools in both Milwaukee’s M12 and M18 lines. Weighs probably like 25 pounds with 2 batteries inserted, but carries well both via the handle, and with the shoulder strap, leaving your hands free to carry other tools.I like a lot of light when working, so have been using it on either medium or high. Does go through batteries fairly quickly, with my mix or 4.0’s and 5.0’s, but that’s to be expected with the screaming amount of light this outputs. Although it holds 2 batteries, it does only operate on one at a time. The light will blink once when it switches to using the 2nd battery, so you’ll know when the first needs charging.Using the One-Key app, you gain full-range dimmability, versus the 3-range of the buttons on the unit. The app also shows current state of each inserted battery, as well as calculates remaining battery life. You can also lock the light from being usable other than from your phone, to dissuade theft. For anyone who has a need, highly recommended!

I can’t say enough about this great work light! It’s bright and easy to move and set up. It also packs away quite nicely and compactly. You do have to order batteries and a charger separately, but my husband needed that anyway. The entire light structure seems to be built to last. Tough material and looks really nice. If setting this up on a non-level surface, you have to work at it a little but it works!

Milwaukee stand light. It’s amazing. It’s a great light and folds up to be “portable”. It is a little heavy to consider it as a flashlight. It’s a fold up stand that uses two of the M18 batteries. 9.0 recommended. It also works with only one battery installed. It has the one key monitoring. The “lamp” rotates and tilts to nearly infinite position and the height is from about two feet to 5 feet. The “legs can fold to two positions and the staff is tilt and height adjustable. The lamp works with one battery and degrades the brightness/power just slightly. After an hour it uses a bit of battery but you use it with the charger nearby and should have easy light for any condition. Not sure about waterproofness but it looks tight. The batteries are in an enclosure with a seal. The LED’s are really bright and light up a large area inside and creates no or little heat.Great light. Would be really nice to have a plug-in for full power and recharge ability.Heavy but stable

I get it….this is a great light; bright, portable, and convenient. I have been a faithful member of team Milwaukee for years now as a successful professional who uses multiple tools daily. I truly enjoy the innovation and forward thinking many of the Milwaukee engineers employ when designing products for the working class. And so anyone reading this knows, I was sent this product at no cost for the review. This light performs great. I installed two of the 18v 9.0ah batteries into the latching battery compartment and turned on the light to be impressed at the 5400 lumens of light output. This light will bring a significant amount of light into any space with the convenience of running on battery power. The three levels of output means you can select which brightness best suits your situational needs. If the space you are working in is small be warned that the high setting is quite bright, which can result in more shadows are making things actually more difficult to see while trying to work in the space. With the two 9.0ah batteries install this light will perform all day on the medium setting without question. Having them install, however, makes the unit a bit heavier, but the compact size when collapsed make transport no issue. The light is adjustable in height and you can swivel the head to make lighting up your work space practical in just about any real working scenario. The base is sturdy making the light source stable and consistent; again another important feature when in a real work scenario. My issue is the cost: sure I can afford a light like this but I would have a difficult time laying out the capital on it. Unless someone is in the position where having a portable light that ONLY runs on batteries (that is correct, this unit has no a/c power option), is an absolute necessity, and that having that portable lighting source equals better production and safer working conditions; then this light is simply not practical. The light is a true workhorse, to that there is no doubt.

Very bright light and user function, one the unit and via Bluetooth, is awesome. It’s expensive but a great light. Only thing that could be better is it could be taller, it shines directly in the line of sight.

Best light that Milwaukee sells for outside construction is the Rover 2360. Beats out Milwaukee m18 2120-20 rocket light in terms of amount of light. ROVER 2360 $150 compared the the ROCKET 2120 $599. Over priced when it comes to amount of money and the amount of light the rocket produces…. How can a 3000 lumen light beat out a 5400 lumen light?Rover 2360 destroys all competition. This light is not worth the money….
