Rocket Dual powered Tower Light w one key. A big fan of the commercial style lights , I’m not too impressed with the Rocket tower. It’s not from the performance which is powerful and lights up a room or spots a specific area. But for me it’s the delivery. This is a big hunk of plastic and a little clunky getting it set up. For what it is a bit heavy with out batteries in comparison to a good old tri pod light with a led light. If your transporting this with the two batteries it really becomes heavy. With everything going on in this light it really would be nice to have an AC option and a AC thru then also enabling one of the battery slots to act as a charger with maybe a USB port. Since the one Key could be a powerful tool for large job tool management the AC option would be a beneficial addition. The One Key has some good tools available but most will never be used by the average homeowner . The basics of remotely setting the light , brightness , run time and battery charge from your phone are good and work well. But Opening up apps to do this takes too much time when you can just do it manually , especially if your working for pay. Some of the other options could be great for larger contractors for tool management and security. So beyond the bulky design the light works , long duration with one or two batteries , portability is fair, One-Key is cool and works with lots of options. In line with other cordless lights this product works very well , a bit pricey in the current format.

A versatile LED work light with ONE-KEY peace of mind built in. The dual 9.0 amp hour battery capacity of this light mean it can run all day long at full power, 5,400 lumens output, on a single charge. At the minimum power setting, 1,600 lumens output (still bright – see video), the ONE-KEY app informs that 58.5 hours runtime is possible! The dual battery compartment will accept all M18 REDLITHIUM battery types.Everything about this light is heavy duty. The plastic and aluminum construction uses good quality, tough materials. It is impact resistant and dust and waterproofed as well. The 24 lb unit, including the two batteries but not the rapid charger or strap, can be carried three ways via; a top handle, a side handle and a strap so it can be carried over the shoulder. Beware though, the top handle access is a bit narrow and my knuckle caught of the leg deployment button. The light has a tripod leg set up, among other stability options, and the light pole can be raised to the most suitable height required anywhere between 2 ½ feet and 5 ½ feet. The light head can be turned in almost any direction to focus the illumination on the work in hand. The ONE-KEY app is used to register the product and it provides remote control of the light up to 100 feet away. The app also offers security, tracking and location services. Milwaukee warranties the LEDs for life and offers five years on the tool and three years on the batteries.

I have been impressed with the Milwaukee M18 tool series and this Tower Light is no exception. Included are two heavy duty M18 batteries and a charger. The stand is very sturdy with a heavy base to prevent tipping. The extension rods raise the light to several different levels to accommodate what you are working on. The entire unit folds fairly easily into itself and makes it simple (albeit a bit heavy) to carry to your job site. The light has several levels of brightness and provides a bright white (daylight) type light. This tool is also part of the One Key system that allows you to sync the unit with your cell phone via an app and blue tooth to monitor the battery levels and change the light levels. I have not yet used this feature, but have downloaded the app and played with it a bit. It seems very easy to use.

WOW- What a Light……I was very excited when I chose this light as I do a lot of interior work (rocking and taping) and painting where I have used a portable light for years to take advantage of “shadowing” to help me do a better job. My “Go to Light” was as old corded light that “similar” to this light, folded to a compact “package” and had a very flexible multi-angle light head. This Milwaukee is clearly Professional Grade, “wireless” (TWO WAYSand with efficient LED light head… Obviously the old one has gone into the garbage and this is my new go to light. While I think the price is a bit over the top and will be a deterrent to it being purchased (unless by Professionals or larger companies), it is clearly a quality product with TWO batteries. Sets up in seconds in any environment or terrain, has up to a 26 hour “run time” .While perfect for the Professional, the ONE KEY capability allows one to Monitor, control AND FIND the light (and other ONE KEY Tools) with ones phone or computer.I also use this light in my garage when detailing/waxing my cars as having a focused light is very helpful and useful.GREAT PRODUCT… Price….. a bit high for the average consumer

Overview use/audience: Professional grade telescoping light featuring Milwaukee’s One Key technology (tool tracking, management, and control app using Bluetooth and a phone app) and utilizes two M18 batteries. Kit includes the light batteries, and a charging station. My Experience: Day one I charged the M18 batteries which took about 45 minutes per battery (they were mostly charged out of the box tho). The next day I started a weekend project to rebuild a rotted shed. With daylight getting shorter this time of year I definitely could not have completed the project without this light. I provided a few pictures of what my work area looked like with the light off and on to show the contrast on the high setting. This light has also been helpful in the garage (I need to add more lighting) to work on building and automotive projects).Outside of projects, I loved having this light on a camping trip so setup tents at night and to light the walking path because there was no electricity at our sight. The One Key feature was helpful too so I could turn the light on/off remotely and adjust the light levels. The app also had features for tracking the tool’s location, locking the tool so it couldn’t be used, and if there were multiple lights an identify feature to indicate that specific one. This is more of a pro feature set but as a DIYer I can appreciate some of the features too.Pros:- Built in handle to carry- M18 packs are easy to install w/ built-in battery level indicator- Easy to use controls (on/off and 3 light positions)- Easy setup and control though One KeyCons:- A little bulky to carry and setup- Price point is one the high sideFinal Verdict: Overall, I’m pleased with the functionality and performance of this light. It definitely allows me to extend my working hours outside at night and provide additional lighting when needed.

Amazing! This is the best cordless tower light hands down. If you are a contractor, or anyone who does repairs in dark places this is by far the best light to get for those jobs sites. It folds up nicely and is very easy to carry with the supplied carrying straps. setup is easy with several locking positions and best of all it doesnt slam down on your fingers. The light itself is very bright and distributes an even flood of light across your work. I did verify that it is water resistant. At full blast the light is just shy of 24 hours with the 9.0 batteries. (mine lasted 22hrs)

M18 18-VOLT LITHIUM-ION CORDLESS ROCKET DUAL PACK TOWER LIGHT WITH ONE-KEY 9.0 AH BATTERY KIT – For the most part this is a really nice work light. It provides a lot of light on high and is adjustable but can be lowered if necessary. It comes with two 9 ah lithium-ion batteries that will power the light on high for a work day. It would be nice if it could be plugged into AC so as to not rely only on battery. As for the light, it is pricey but does a great job. The light is also One-Key capable which is an app that allows you to control the light through a smart phone and offers a number of options for managing tools and locating to disabling for security. Although, I don’t have a need for many of the functions, I do see the value it would bring to a larger construction company.

Absolutely amazing light…That is the best way to sum it up. The light is very compact and easily moved around in its collapsed position with the handy side handle and included shoulder strap. Set up is like 10 seconds quick for real but speed in setting up lighting is not the selling point. The on board 2 battery capacity with water tight lid gets it to the selling point in that it provides enough 4,000 + lumens to light up the early hours of darkness to continue work. I have been using up until noise ordinance of 10 pm to light up a jobsite and it has been an absolute joy to be able to see clearly to continue work. One Key is a great added feature and makes adding the light to inventory a very easy process where it simply recognizes the tool and ads it to inventory. Now one thing I wished it could do is re-position the light when you are up on a ladder or roof, it only changes brightness levels and notifies you of limit left on the batteries. The legs swing out and latch and create a good 3 point connection with the ground to keep the light stable and is not easily knocked over with a low center of gravity where the other milwaukee tower lights can be knocked over quite a bit more easily. The included 9.0 battery packs help with the weight where most would complain it’s too heavy and further, give enough boost to light for much longer. It does run the same M18 line so you could use any M18 battery in it, just expect a shorter duration of lighting which can be displayed in the One Key app but don’t be fooled, it can even run on one battery…you do not always need to be running both in the event you need that second battery in a M18 drill or somthing for a burst. The only CON I could find is that the price point of this light is out of range for most making this a high end luxury item for the average builder or homeowner but if you certainly want a light that will easily “light the site”, this will deliver.

This is my first experience with one-key. It is an easy way to register a new tool. It also has features that I don’t need, but would be handy for a contracter. Being able to disable a tool when it is not being used should be a deterrent for theft. This light is compact when folded up, and includes a carrying strap so you can carry it while leaving your hands free for other stuff. When you unfold it for use, you have a lot of options so that you can get the light where you need it. You can have the base flat, or unfold it to a tripod arrangement. The footprint of the tripod is adjustable. The pedestal supporting the light head telescopes, letting you adjust the height. The head tilts and swivels as well. The base has storage for a second battery. The light has 3 brightness levels. In a small arei, the lowest level provides plenty of light, without being overpowering. For larger areas, or lighting from farther away, the other levels are nice. You can also control it from a smartphone, but I am not sure how handy that is.This light is great for when you don’t have power, or when you don’t want to drag out a cord. It is as bright as the corded work lights, and lasts a long time.

This is a literally stunning light that really blasts the lumens. Setting it up is super easy, except for the weight of the light. It is surprisingly heavy. It has “D” rings for attaching a shoulder strap, which I would recommend if you need to carry this any distance. Run times were a little disappointing. It did not meet any of the listed times on the box. I got 6 hours 45 minutes on High and a little over 24 hours on low. The color of this light is fantastic, and I was really surprised at how wide an angle the light covers. It will light up a surprisingly wide area. The OneKey app was kind of hit and miss. It gives you lots of good information about the light, but I did have some connection issues. The app has the ability to show you where the tool was last seen (relying on some pretty good luck). This did not work for me as it showed the last place my tool was seen was a place it had never been to. I do like on the app, that it lets you make finer adjustments to the light level the lamp is emitting. And you can see the battery state of charge on the app, which is nice.

The Milwaukee Rocket M18 LED Dual Pack Tower Light is ideal for use at night working away from house or generator power sources. In the past I have used bulky pedestal lighting and was limited to the length of my extension cord. Now I have a compact and portable lighting source that easily sets up and provides up to 26 hours of lighting without needing recharged. After testing and using the Milwaukee Rocket LED Tower Light for several projects, I am very impressed with its features and performance. The entire light and stand folds up to a very compact size of 22” x 10.6” x 7.1”, and weights a manageable 24 lbs. Setup takes less than 10 seconds and the stand has multiple positions up to 5 feet 5 inches for ensuring the light is directed where needed. It has three output modes (1600/3100/5400 Lumens) with a maximum of 5400 Lumens. It uses a water-sealed, dual battery design, where one or two batteries can be used, and the second battery automatically provides power once the first battery is exhausted. It is also ONE-KEY capable, which is a Milwaukee Cloud-Based Tool Management System for tracking multiple compatible tools. The Milwaukee Rocket LED Dual Pack Tower Light is perfect for performing work at night or any area where lots of light is needed. The only drawback it the high cost. However, the compact size, ease-of-use, light output, and runtime are well worth the expense.

I have been waiting anxiously for this unit to arrive. This unit is perfect in so many different uses it is mind boggling. I enjoy night fishing and this portable M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless ROCKET Dual Pack Tower Light lights up the area so well it is like fishing during the daylight hours. With a carrying strap and handle this unit can easily be carried anywhere it is needed and sets up in seconds giving light where needed in three settings of brightness. The lower setting allowing you up to 26 hours of light on the 2 battery pack setup. The highest setting at 5400 Lumen avaerages about 7 hours. Water and dust proof it can virtually be set up anywhere. Come spring I will be using it for camping as well. I have alot of backyard gatherings that during warmer weather this unit will most certainly be an additional light source for those functions. Also thinking of possible power outages in our area which do unfortunately happen from time to time. I will be ready with addtional lighting source with this fantastic unit. This unit is also 1-Key ready which allows you to track and set runtimes of this unit if you need to do it remotely via your smart phone or computer. I do not plan leaving this prized device out of my sight but if by chance it was misplaced you are able to actually track its location. That is pretty neat for those using this on perhaps job sites and such that are not always on the site it is being used on. I like this unit alot. And the fact that it uses the same M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion batteries that are interchangable with other power tools by Milwaukee makes it even that much better as I have several other Milwaukee products that us the same battery power. Great product I recommend for anyone. If only for piece of mind having for power outages this unit is worth having it in your garage or workshop. So many uses. Thank you Milwaukee and Home Depot for again providing quality merchandise to your customers.

Its expensive, but so worth the price when it comes to cordless light! It can run off 2 m18 batteries, when using 2 9.0Ah batteries on low it is rated for over 26 hours of use! I like how this light is so compact and portable, yet puts off light that can give the sun a day off! This light doesn’t have a diffuser like some of the Milwaukee lights, its LED lights are visible and bright as the sun. Quick and easy to set up as is the Rocket Lights in this line up. The One Key app allows you to have ultimate control on light output, but the weakness of this is the One Key app. With updates it freezes and doesn’t always work properly. I recently used this to light up a wall I was building a 4 wide 3 tall video wall for a local business. At 6 am this lit up the wall very nicely and I could see everything I needed to for a beautiful installation.

The M18 18-volt lithium-ion cordless rocket dual pack tower light with one-key 9.0 ah battery kit is a very compact unit that puts outs and extraordinary amount of light. The unit ways only 24 lbs and sets in seconds. It is water tight and very durable. The light puts off a max of 5400 Lumen in the bright setting for about 7 hours. In the low setting it can run up to 26 hours at 1600 Lumen. If you work in dark areas or at night this light is a must have.
