The amount of light this thing produces is second to none. I have a Ridgid LED panel that is brighter, but the white light is harsh and doesnt offer the useable visible light this Milwaukee does. The big drawback to this light is that you cannot plug it in, unlike the Ridgid, which can run off battery or plug in power. Therefore, you are forced to sacrifice cycles on your batteries when you want to use it. If Milwaukee released a version 2 that had the ability to accept a power cord, it would be a 5 star product. Until then, I find myself using my Ridgid light more because i dont have the hassle of wear/tear and changing the battery every couple hours.

Works great , bright for my needs under the hood in a shop. Battery life will depends on the battery you purchase . I use the 2.0 because I have multiple tools taking a 2.0 battery and have a charger nearby – bought this over one off the “tool truck” b/c of the warranty and serviceable battery .
