The amount of light this thing produces is second to none. I have a Ridgid LED panel that is brighter, but the white light is harsh and doesnt offer the useable visible light this Milwaukee does. The big drawback to this light is that you cannot plug it in, unlike the Ridgid, which can run off battery or plug in power. Therefore, you are forced to sacrifice cycles on your batteries when you want to use it. If Milwaukee released a version 2 that had the ability to accept a power cord, it would be a 5 star product. Until then, I find myself using my Ridgid light more because i dont have the hassle of wear/tear and changing the battery every couple hours.

It’s pretty amazing how to light floods the engine bay, the mount is easy to use and run time is excellent. I do wish the mount was about 6″ smaller to accommodate smaller hoods, but that because I use it for work on Forklifts, I’m sure it fits fine on all automotive hoods.

Awesome light. Very bright even in the low setting it puts out good light. Light cast very low shadowing on work space. Hood mount works very well very handy and well built. The only down fall is that it drains the battery fast on hight. I have the M12 3.0 batteries just have to have your back up battery ready to go. Other than that I love the light. I use it ever change I can get

I’ve struggled with cheap clamp-on corded work lights that are easy to trip on for years. This light has excellent light output and the long row of LEDs allows you to work under it and have minimal shadows on the work area. Adapts to every hood I have tried it on and does not scratch paint. I purchased the 6 Ah battery with this and the runtime is fantastic. On its brightest mode I get well over 5 hrs on a single charge.
