Works great , bright for my needs under the hood in a shop. Battery life will depends on the battery you purchase . I use the 2.0 because I have multiple tools taking a 2.0 battery and have a charger nearby – bought this over one off the “tool truck” b/c of the warranty and serviceable battery .

Amazing hood light! Lights up the whole engine bay i have yet to come across a vehicle it didnt hook to. Ive been using the 3.0 battery i get by with it id definitely recommended getting the 6.0 though.
