Super good product just wish it would collapse down a bit more and the carrying case is a little to snug. The light itself is great

I am the tools manager for a electrical contracting company. Our electricians were working a basement of a building with no power turned on. Purchased the M-18 Milwaukee tower with the 9.0 battery. The light on high lasted 5 hours and lit up the whole electrical room for my guys to work. I also had a smaller M-18 light for working inside the electrical cabinets. The guys loved it. Since then I have 9 more Great light to light up and area.

Great design. Very convenient to use. Very bright even on its lowest setting. Easy to get the light where you need it. The included case is also well built.

This is the best stand up late I have ever seen the light it gives off is truly amazing however I would try to wait until there was a sale because I do think it is overpriced but it is a great light I would recommend it

This LED light stand is impressive. I often need additional light for interior and exterior jobs but hate running cords and tripping on them. This light is great. It comes full assembled and ready for use with a charged battery. It weighs about 25 lbs but is balanced well and very easy to move around. It is well built and feels sturdy. There is a simple handle and thumb button that easily deploys the lower supports. Then you simply raise the top boom using 2 clips, very, very easy. extends to about 6 feet. The actual light head is 3 directional smaller light and the top of the light stand rotates and turns so that you can adjust it to almost any direction easily. It has a simple power on button with 3 power levels of light to scroll between. It throws out a large amount of light and easily brightens any area. I have used to help brighten a room for painting, doing some outside work at night and servicing a car in my garage. It worked great in all situations. I keep thinking of new applications for this light and at this point I don’t know how I got along without this light stand. Since it is LED, the battery lasts a long, long time, it is cool to touch and can quickly be retracted, packed and stored in the included storage bag

This stand puts out a high power of light that is dimmable to three levels. The light is easy on the eyes without washing out colors or altering perception. The tower is well manufactured and sets up in seconds with an easy button push to extend the tripod. Two extension rods can increase the height if needed. Three separate light heads can then be angled in any direction needed. This stand can be used to light an entire room or spot light your work area. I have found it most helpful when I am replacing mounted lights and of course have the power turned off to the room. The rocket stand has a built in charger so that you can charge the battery in the stand itself simply by plugging it into an extension cord (not included). The kit does come with a storage bag but I have been using the light so much I leave it out. Great addition to the Milwaukee line up.

I’ve had this a couple weeks now and have already put it through some pretty good paces. This time of year I seem to find myself working in situations requiring a light often. Just because the sun goes down does not mean the work ends. And that is where this thing really does it’s part – when you need to be able to see good to get the job done and the job has to get done. You can see from the construction that a lot of thought went into the engineering on it. I had some work to do last week outside one night when a big storm was moving in and the winds were expected to exceed 50 MPH (which they did according to some meteorological data I checked the next day because my company archives that data.) While I was out working I had it fully extended to its full height and it remained stable even though the wind was already very strong. (I was racing the storm to try and get done adding some guy wires to some things I was afraid would blow over.) I was a little surprised and more than a bit impressed by just how stable this thing was fully extended. My help was saying that thing will blow over when I popped it up. And until I set up up and saw just how well it stood its ground I wondered if they might be right. But I was vindicated because we never even saw it wobble perceptibly. (And I really like the way the mechanism is engineered to open and close the stand – very quick and easy and well designed. kudos to the engineers that got that right.) The adjustability of the head is also more useful than I had anticipated. This came in handy when I was working on 2 electrical boxes that were spread out a good deal (maybe 25 feet) by saving me from having to run back and forth moving the light as I moved back and forth between the boxes a number of times. I had wondered how useful that feature would actually be and was a bit skeptical but I did not have to wait long for a situation where it happened to be just the ticket. I guess that’s the thing about flexibility. You can adapt better to things you had not foreseen. The battery life is great and having the charger built into the light is just another one of those features that was really well thought out. It comes with a pretty nice padded bag that is handy when it is going to be tossed into say a truck bed. The bag does take a moment to get the hang of because it has to go in top first so it is not the easiest thing to get in the bag the first time. It’s a snug fit. I have a Gator Trax hard retractable tonneau cover on my truck but I still like having that little bit of protection for a tool like this if I’m transporting it so it don’t get banged up by other stuff in the bed. Obviously if you spend this on a light you want to take care of it so the bag could be a nice to have.In summary, I’ve had some good experiences with the Milwaukee brand and this is one more tool that did not fail to deliver. Thumbs up on the quality and feature set. As for the question – is this worth the price difference between it and its cheaper brother ? You just have to decide if the additional features make up for that difference for your usage. That will vary for each user. Obviously you do get some extras with the notably brighter light, the more flexible head, the built in charger and the ability to run off a cord if you wish (and charge while you do that). I myself have used it on the brightest setting for all the work I’ve done with it so yeah, I’m all for brighter. I’m no youngster now so my old eyes need all the light I can get. And another 1000 lumens is a good deal more light. And the flexible head proved to be a real time saver/hassle reducer as I mentioned. I’m looking at them right now and for the current HD delta in price those are some pretty nice additions. It’s a lot for a light but if you are using it for the everyday workday jobs it was made for I think it will earn its keep. And that’s really what you want out of any tool. Quality tools usually run you a bit more but I’ve seldom been sorry I went the route of going for quality when it comes to tools. (I can think of several long time tools I have where I got the best I could find and those are all my favorites and they have lasted decades.) Once you have this I don’t think you’ll look back and say gee, I wish I’d gone for the cheaper one. I know I’ve had very few cases (if any) where I did that but I’ve had a lot of them where I said I should have just gone for a better tool – when I ended up having to replace a tool because it did not stand up. (LIke a box full of drills I accumulated until I finally went with the best one I could find because I was burning through them) If you make your living with tools you know what I mean. I think that holds true here. This is a professional quality tool.

As room work light, it does it all. Out of the box the unit assembled and ready for opening and use. Opening light assembly is an easy operation that involves telescoping the unit up with the base legs locking out upon full extension. Included 9.0 Ah battery does require a full charge before use but the light also has a dual function of charging in the base in addition to working off of house AC power outlet but requires buyer extension cord for use. Light pedals are easily adjusted give almost full articulation of angle use to get the light where you need it. Light has three brightness level of adjustment that is separate from the on/off switch.Fold up and storage in provided pouch is just as easy as initial assembly. Unit is of high quality and sturdy construction that I expect will give many years of service light. Highly Recommend!

I use this project all the time as a general contractor. The upfront cost may seem high; however, you are getting a charger, a light that doesn’t require an extension cord, and you don’t have to keep buying halogens. This light is brighter, easier to maintain (doesn’t snap break and bend like those awful frames on the halogen trees), absurdly easy to store and set up, and honestly just looks more professional in a clients home. I don’t think you can get a better light – and I have looked.

This is the ultimate light for any work or play. It is adjustable, portable good quality light. The battery is fantastic long lasting and the whole battery system is a winner. Plugging the light you can charge the battery. The carry bag is nice, very good quality. If I may, the 2363-20 is also very good light for small jobs or camping.

Slightly more light output then the other version of the M18 Rocket Light without the charging feature. Little to no heat out put due to LED lights.Love having the 3 independent heads to move in the direction I please including straight down for a radius effect

Talk about a bright light. I love this light, the battery fits in the base and you plug the power cord in and it charges the battery while you are using the light. Then you disconnect the power cord and the battery takes over giving you bright white light where ever you need it.. The base mount is sturdy and doesn’t tip over easily at all and you start to raise the mast to the second level and it is still sturdy like a rock.. It folds up into a nice compact bundle that fits in a handy carrying case. It is a real asset in the dark confines of a house when you are trying to lay flooring or doing electrical work. Great Bright Light.
