The MILWAUKEE M18 RADIUS Compact Site Light with Flood Mode provides a two-in-one solution for area and task lighting for less to carry. The compact LED light delivers 2,200 lumens in area mode and 1,000 lumens in flood mode. The Milwaukee compact site light offers up to 18 hours of runtime with an M18 XC 5.0 battery with the option to be plugged in using an integrated AC inlet for extended runtime. A 4-1/4″ metal hanging hook easily hangs for overhead and a high impact polycarbonate lens withstands harsh jobsite abuse. The high-quality LEDs never need to be replaced and are backed by a limited lifetime warranty. Needed a good light to work in a room with no power. Wasn’t sure about this but boy I was surprised. It lights up the whole room like if you had a regular lamp without the shade on it and then some. Has 3 different brightness modes and the side spot light. It lasts a decent amount of time. I usually throw my 12ah battery in it so I don’t have to worry about it but it’s a great light. You can plug extension cord in it if you don’t want to use the battery. We’ve dropped it on concrete and it hasn’t broke yet. You can hang it with the hook it has on the bottom to get more light output. I’ll probably buy more to use in other work areas as needed.

We bought, the M18, the M12 Rocket Lights and this one. Our intention was more for a frequent home / back yard / family functions’ use. Both Rocket lights cover the entire backyard and stay on for the entire duration. They are perfect for what we need. Put a black skirt to match tables etc and the lights blends in as if the setup was done professionally. This light was to hang in the middle of a shed to ligt up the work area as the light from the Ricket(s) is in one direction, creating shadows. I normally put an orange photographic Gel film on all lights, and, the color of the light matches the warm color tone of the bonfires, cookout grills, Tiki etc. I am sure you will not go wrong with either one of them for construction purposes as well.
