Wow! This is one bright light…One XC High Demand 9.0 Battery keeps this light going 6+ hours in maximum lighting mode. Heavier than I expected though it’s productivity outweighs it’s weight. If you need “bright white light” get this light! Getting a couple more ASAP. Also looking forward for the “M12 XC High Demand 12.0 Battery Packs” to be released in the next few weeks….

The light is super bright but it eats through batteries.

I can’t say enough good about this light! I can see so many uses for it! We have used it camping, in our shop, and around the yard working now that the sun sets at 4:45pm. It is amazingly bright with 4,400 lçwhen set on it’s highest/brightest setting, and 1000 lumens of TRUEVIEW™ High Definition output on its low setting. I had to get up in the attic where there is only a single light bulb, I used this and it lit up the entire attic space. This M18 18-VOLT RADIUS LED COMPACT SITE LIGHT by Milwaukee is a great buy. It can be plugged in or used on a rechargeable battery. The recharger is sold separately. It has an ac plug for plugging in and another port for plugging out to allow you too string more than one together. It has a convenient hanging hook and a hang hole as well as a sturdy carrying handle. It is beafy and heavy. Comes with a twisted wire loop ended security cable for padlocking to prevent theft. Really useful light.

Milwaukee makes great products and this works great. I used it so far to work in a house that we put temp chain lighting up in but didn’t give me enough light in the area I was working on. It is portable and although expensive, I expect years of use out of it and with the free 9.0 battery and charger, a pretty good deal.

this light is really bright. this is what I needed for my jobs! thanks Milwaukee! and thank you Home Depot for having the best tools, that will last! the old saying! you get what you paid for! I paid for the best!

This light literally only has 3 brightness modes. I’m used to the DeWalt fully adjustable Bluetooth light, but this is WAY more portable. It’s a little heavier than it looks, but still light. If you run it from battery, turn off the side you don’t need and you’ll get more runtime. Very bright!!!

Milwaukee M18 18-Volt Radius LED Compact Site Light is one powerful light source. Its versatile and sturdy, can take a knock on the job. It comes with a carrying handle on top and and another hook system in the base to put it upside down on a wall hook or tie it to a pipe or beam. A security cable is included. This light’s design give you 360 degree illumination! It has panels on all sides and another light panel on the top! The light runs cool and you avoid those problems with halogen lights that run hot and can be dangerous. If you’ve ever burned yourself with a halogen lamp you know the advantages of a cool light. A work light isn’t practical if their isn’t enough of it and this one is rated at 4,000 lumens which is more than a 250 watt halogen. That’s bright enough to light up a room. It has three light settings from high to low which saves the battery for all day use when set at low. It also has an AC cord outlet for an extension to an outlet and can be daisy chained with others to form a string of lighting at the work site. Now, for all that are going to ask, no the cord doesn’t charge the M18 battery, go figure? What I noticed with this light immediately was the convenience of it all. It sets up fast, just put it down or hang it. You are not carrying around an extension cord and a string of lights for the illumination that this one throws out. All my tools are cordless so the electrical cord was always carried because of the lighting issue. Not having a cord on the floor is another plus. In the end the real issue has to be what is cordless portability worth? This is a pricey light and where you don’t want the hassle of a cord to take to a job site or don’t have electricity this work’s nicely. I see it for those who want something to drop down and get to work fast avoiding the hassle factor. For that purpose its really a great portable light.

Bright and durable.

Great versatility. Provides plenty of light without being too bright, like a spotlight or one of those stand light do. Not too heavy, and the ability to use a battery when AC power isn’t available is a feature that justifies the price.

The light is portable dependent and extremely functional. When paired with an m-18 battery it is a fantastic long lasting light. I will enjoy this light for a long time. This is light years ahead of the Stanley fat max it replaced.

Great small package light, comes with a few options for power, either m18 battery or pass through 120vac, you can also set it on the ground or it has a hook to hang it from a pipe or some sort of structure. 4400 lumens, I suggest a large battery like the 9.0

It’s an excellent jobsite light given its 18V capacity. Seems durable enough to withstand my normal abuse. I like having the ability to hang it or set it. Multi function allows you to dim for saving the battery and give directional lighting. It’s very bright. Nearly as bright as my 6oow halogen stand light but no heat so no worry of scorching anything near by. I do wish it’d charge the battery while plugged into a cord. Beyond that, it’s an exceptional tool to have on the job.

The first impression I had when I pulled the Radius Site Light out of the box was that it was surprisingly heavy. It weighs about 10 pounds without battery and feels rock solid. The plastic material used for the base is extremely thick and very hard (the base plastic material is marked as PA66-GF25-FR). I saw a Milwaukee demonstration video showing how they put extra design into making this light very rugged and impact resistant, and it shows–this light is a tank. The light is very bright–4400 lumens, which is incredible. Because the light is covering 360 degrees plus the top of the light, it doesn’t appear as intense as a focused beam light, but it is putting out a TON of light. I can’t look at the light when it is turned on high–it’s just too bright. It can provide very usable light throughout my 25’x22′ garage. The light has three rubber buttons above the battery: on/off, brightness (3 levels), and front/back–which allows you to have both sides illuminated, or only one of the two sides illuminated. It has a comfortable carry handle attached to the top, and a stainless steel hook that folds out from the bottom for hanging it upside down at a site. The light worked perfectly with an M18 XC 5.0 battery. One convenient feature is that it can be powered by an AC extension cord, and you can daisy chain multiple lights, as it has both male and female plugs. The three main pieces of the light have gaskets between them to provide water resistance, and each screw hole has double gaskets. It is rated IP54, which is dust protected and splash protected.I haven’t seen any other consumer tool company offering a similar job site light, so this Milwaukee model seems like a unique product that fills a need. I have smaller hand-held battery powered LED lights for lighting small areas, but the Milwaukee job site lights are great for lighting up work areas. I’m very impressed. If you are considering this light, you might want to also look at the Milwaukee Rocket Stand lights. I have a Rocket Stand Light and love it, so it may be tough to choose between the two. The stand light provides an elevated light source and a more focused light, but it is much larger, is about 15 lbs and is not water resistant. If you need 365 degree lighting in an open area or want a compact but very bright heavy duty light with water resistance, this Site Light is a great choice.
