Its good. Other then being Milwaukee… just your average temp gun. Auto off and drop resistant are pros. Very accurate. If the laser reflects, it doesn’t work correctly.

The infrared thermometer is sturdy, easy to use, and works well. Definitely worth the money. I work as an industrial mechanic and was an HVAC tech before that.

The Infrared thermometer has been working as it should. I haven’t found any evident discrepancies with its reading. I have a Fluke infrared camera and the Milwaukee appears to be 2 degrees more accurate. I can’t tell for sure since I don’t have a calibrated thermometer. I’ve used it for several applications: outdoor rotisserie set up to installing a freezer (doesn’t read below 12 degrees I think so watch out), testing the discharge of a solar battery, testing the boiler and plumbing, and familiy’s forehead and mouth temperature. My only complaint is the range of temperature on the device. I’ve learned that it does not have enough range for some of my needs. I’m looking into another model with a larger range. I give this 5 stars as I consider the range my fault for hastily buying it without enough prior research.

Another great tool from Milwaukee. I found it to be very accurate and was able to read individual cylinder temps with no problems. Great addition to my tool box.

Accurate and Milwaukee dependable.

Seems to work good. It’s a good brand so I expected it to. The one thing I wish it had was to be able to take a reading with out using the laser

Easy to use. Seems accurate.

Works great for what I needed it for. No problems with it at all. Good brand name & worth the extra that it costs over the other ones.
Elta McGlynn (verified owner) –
It’s not accurate. Off 5-10°

So far so good

I use for home inspections. Definitely droppable trigger isn’t always smooth and lazer isn’t that bright but it’s a quality tool.
