This light has so many potential uses. Anyone needing a light that isn’t a compact light will enjoy all of the features built into it. Aluminum housing, bright light in all ranges of focus, truly a versatile light.

This is a great LED flashlight that uses the M12 battery platform. It has a similar feel of weight and quality that you experience from the big Maglites. The aluminum case has a solid feel. The light is really bright and holds a tight beam out to a great distance. It shines pretty far out there even on low setting. It also has a strobe feature that I could completely do without, but a lot of people want that feature. The lens slides back and forward to control the spot and flood features. The focusing is really nice because you never see the square led in the light beam.It is supposed to last 1.5 hours on High, I experienced 1hr 34 minutes on high before it started flashing to let me know it was running low on power. It is supposed to last 2.5 hours on low, but I only got about 2.25 hours on low. One thing I was amazed about is how cool the light stays. I have other high power LED lights, but they can get really hot pretty quickly. Even after being on 1.5 hours, the flashlight was fairly cool. It was warm, but not rocket hot like others I have used.It is a great flashlight, but I am not convinced it is worth the current asking price of $99 for the light and $149 for the kit. There are a lot of lights for half the price doing the same thing.

It very durable a nice clear light. I like the option of spot or flood beam. I like that i can use the same batery for my other milwaukee tools. This is a great led flashlight.

The light produced is very nice. The lighting is smooth wether using flood or spot. It is very nice that the power and mode switches are separate. No having to toggle between modes to get to the one you need. The blink warning to a low battery is helpful. I would recommend this flashlight to anyone else. I only have a few issues. The flashlight is somewhat heavy. If Wilwaukee could drop the weight by 1/4 it would be less fatigue to hold for long periods of time. The supplied lanyard is far to weak to last. The light is too heavy to use the lanyard for hands-free carrying. It needs to be held close to your body when not in use but is too large to fit in a pocket. The light should have been delivered with a belt clip. I had to make my own from some 1 1/4 PVC. Changing the color of the power/mode switch from black to red would help to locate the switch faster in low light situations.

I am a Milwaukee tool fan. I have both 18v and 12v lines. I already have a couple of work lights in each voltage that i use around the house and on the construction site. I also have a few tactical lights from some well known brands that cost hundreds of dollars, with that being said. I am totally impressed with what Milwaukee has come up with for the 12v line. The body is aluminum with a knurled center section for your hand just like the expensive ones I mentioned earlier. Its bulky at the bottom but necessary to accommodate the battery pack. I like that it has a battery meter like most of the other Milwaukee tools do but most flashlights don’t. It has low, high and strobe function for tactical/defensive applications as well. To say its bright would be an understatement. Its a spot or wide beam focus-able lens sliding lens. The lens is not glass, it is a polycarbonate convex type with a focus light diffuser bubble in the middle. Glass is nice for being scratch resistant but it can shatter. Iwth a flashlight bell this large i think they made a good choice to go with what they did. The shape as mentioned probably wont pickup a lot of scratches that you would have on a flat lens anyway.I dont know the run times on each of the setting but i know that I’ve used it on high for aover 2 hours at one point but then turned it off. it never dimmed and the battery showed 2 out of 4 dots on the power meter still. In conclusion, this is a great flashlight for the truck, house, work site or even dry search and rescue applications. I say dry cause i pretty sure its not waterproof. Its not going to replace my high end professional type flashlights for any extreme situations due to it not being waterproof but day to day stuff its great. The aluminum body and LED technology is 100% on par with all the high end stuff and having it use the same rechargeable batteries as my tools is a huge plus. another quality lighting product from Milwaukee!!!

Awesome light. It’s very very bright. It is as bright as a coon hunting light that my other half paid a lot more money for. Very useful on dark nights in the country. I will always know what the dogs are barking at. You can see a good ways. On open mode it lights my entire front yard. I Would reccomend if your looking for a light that is durable and bright. This is a serious light though, if you need a basic flash light lighting this is not for you it could be too bright for your basic around the house small uses and become harder to see it’s so bright.

Puts out a lot of light! Not the ” blue light” either. Light is well built. Little heavier than expected. Wish it had adjustable beam.

This is a very high quality flashlight which is very well made and very bright. It is a huge plus that it runs on a Milwaukee 12 v battery particularly if you use them for other Milwaukee products. Highly recommend.

Wasn’t impressed with the “fuzzy” look of the lite beam , the pistol grip lite has a wonderful beam

Had the m12 trueview spotlight and loved it, but it wasnt near as well made as this one and i broke it. I like the zoom lens to change from spotlight to flood light. Well made super high end materials and built to last. One of my favorite tools milwaukee mskes
