A great way to integrate 3000 lumen portable lighting, an M18 battery charger and a phone charger by integrating these into one PackOut unit – as part of the system it can give you lighting as you wind your way through dark corridors. It has 3 light levels, 3 lighting modes and 3 rotating light heads – the rotating heads are great for protecting the LED lights during storage/transport – they can be tucked in with their backs facing out – when light heads are cool (see photos). It can be powered with either an M18 battery or AC power (you supply the extension cord). There are compartments for the M18 battery (has room for a 12Ah battery) and a switched USB outlet for charging a cell phone – the outlet automatically turns off in 2 hours. This compartment is not large enough to accommodate larger smartphones with the charging cord inserted into the bottom of the phone (door of the compartment will not close). The M18 battery compartment also acts as a charging station (not a rapid charger) when the unit is plugged into an AC outlet. This is IP54 water splash and dust proof – the battery compartment and the USB outlet compartment have full surround gaskets. The AC power plug port also has a gasket.Weight is 11.3 lbs – its 16-7/8” long overall 9-7/8” wide 8-5/8” tall including PackOut locking cleats on the bottom (8-1/4” net w/o cleats).

Good amount of light and love that you can stack it on packout. Would love if Milwaukee would have incorporated a base plate that would allow LEFT or RIGHT mounting on my stack out so that I could mount two lights side by side and have lights illuminate 360° around my packout. Maybe v2. But overall it’s a great light and charging solution.

My photos don’t show the true illumination of these lights, but all three lights are fantastic. They swivel and can be aimed just about anywhere. This item appealed to me, not only because it had great battery operated lighting, but also included a plug- in for an extension cord and a USB station for charging devices such as cell phones and tablets. I have lake property where I’m building a cabin and this goes with me now whenever I’m there. There are so many uses for this Packout item, from camping, to when the lights go out, to working outside or even inside where there isn’t sufficient lighting. Milwaukee never disappoints. I highly recommend this item. It can be used either with or without the other Packout storage items and carts.

Milwaukee M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless PACKOUT 3000 Lumens LED Light with Built-In Charger Wow this is a great addition to anyone’s work environment.First off i was completely surprised at how heavy duty and well made this light is. It also has the ability to be plugged in and used if your battery dies and it will charge them as well. There is a very sturdy handle on the front of the unit and yes it can be attached to a packout system. Each of the three lights have a finger slot at the tops to help with getting them up and ready to use but the larger light is the only one you can really do that with because the two smaller lights are a bit blocked by the handle and a small foot on what we will call the bottom of the box. Not a deal breaker by any means but just good to know. The large center light is 9 1/4” X 4 3/4” and has 36 leds and the two smaller side lights are 4 1/2” X 2 5/8” with 9 leds in each of them. The side with the usb charger has room to place your phone into it as it’s charging and you can close the door to protect it from sawdust or whatever you’re doing. You could also store a small note pad or an extra battery in there as well. The overall dimensions of the box are approximately 17” tall including the handle X 10” wide X 8” deep. The mode button allows the lights to be turned on either all three at the same time or just the large center light or just both side lights. I love this light system, i hope to get many years of service from it and I highly recommend it. Thank you Milwaukee

Great ideas come in medium packages too! This light has multiple lighting options and light levels. I have two M18 Rover lights and this is like having 3 at once, tossing light in 3 directions. I have had it a month and used it in a 6×12 trailer a 12×20 storage locker and outside. It is great. Bonus feature on board storage big enough to hold a second battery so if you are using it away from power it can last a good long time. Recommended if light is needed and you are away from mains.

Milwaukee really excels at cordless lighting, first their rocket lights which now include a model with extension cord plug in and now the packout light which offers the same feature in a smaller package and more. First I was surprised how bright this light was, it’s absolutely blinding on full brightness with all 3 lights going, however they do give you the mode button to change how many lights are active. There is also a brightness button to change between low medium and high. The lights themselves rotate, so you can conceal them during transport to protect the plastic lenses, as well as direct the light where you need it.The added bonuses are a nice compartment to charge your phone and keep it safe while transporting or working, and it can be plugged in to an extension cord to charge the M18 battery, acting as a charger replacement while also providing actual lighting. I’m very glad I went with the packout line, it’s leagues ahead of competitors options in both features and build quality. I was a little surprised this thing weighed about 14lbs, but that just shows how sturdy it’ll be when things are stacked on it in a packout stack. Overall I would absolutely recommend this light for anyone already invested or considering investing in the packout line, and of course M18 to supply the batteries as well.

This light worked fantastic! I was installing custom lights onto my friends house all day and into the night. We turned on his house lights but they weren’t enough for us to see what we were doing in the dark. So I pulled this light out and it just lit up the whole side of the house. It was so nice to have a light that puts out so much light and in such a small package. This on it’s own is enough for me to recommend, but the fact that you can run it on grid power or the batteries is awesome, the fact that you can charge your phone and leave it secured in the light is great. (by the way you can stream to wireless headphones while it’s in the phone pocket and it doesn’t decrease the range that the Bluetooth works.) I do have three things that I think Milwaukee needs to rethink on their next version of this light. The two smaller lights on the side can rotate a little less than 360 degrees and they rotate the opposite direction from each other meaning there are some positions that you can’t shine both side lights in the same direction. The whole light feels pretty big for what it is. And last is the handle. It’s great when it’s on my pack out, but if I’m just using the light by itself and I want to move it around from place to place, the handle rests on the ground and is not very convenient. I just ended up grabbing the large middle light to carry it from place to place as I worked.

Another outstanding, well built Milwaukee M18 product. 3000 lumens is a lot of light and by provided by 3 independently movable lights, it provides good flexibility and decreases shadows. One of the packing series, the product is not particularly small or light, so it’s applications are reserved for bigger jobs that require light for a longer period of time. Light has options for one, two or all three lights on at a time.

2 things that could make this product better. Atleast 1 of the lights to have a telescoping ability. Built in Bluetooth raidio!

If you need lots of light the Milwaukee M18 Packout Light/Charger is for you. I used the Packout Light in the crawlspace of my house and underneath my pickup. It’s amazing how much more you can see compared to a using a headlamp and a work light. The light mode button allows you to select between all three lights, the big one in the middle, or the lights on both ends. The lights are very adjustable and stay in place. The flexibility of being able to charge an M18 battery or use it as the power source is really handy. It seems like the only thing it needs is a spot for charging an M12 battery.
