With a rugged design and impact resistant lens, the new light is built to withstand abusive jobsite conditions. M12 Compact Vacuum provides more power to clean anywhere. A high performance motor delivers maximum suction for a wide range of construction materials, such as wood chips and metal shavings. With up to 29-minutes of run-time on a single charge, the M12 Compact Vacuum can be used for spot clean-up or large area vacuuming. Incredibly bright sturdy and long lasting on 5 amp battery. Only slight concern is scratching on the clear plastic long term. Already saw a few scratches. But nothing crazy, and what are tools good for if they aren’t being used.

There are 3 or 4 settings for brightness. We use this light for camping and was very bright just on the 2nd setting. We ran the light for 3 hours for 2 nights charged 2 cellphones and still had some battery left. Great product.

this is a great work lantern & if u need 2 power it i would stick use the the m12 1.5 because this 1 is fine rather than the job site 1 witch is xc 4.0 m12 also the 1.5 is small so i don’t think you need a long life bat 4 your job & the best thing with this it charges fast with a rapid charger .

I had one of these, liked it so much I bought another. Great for power outages, it provides plenty of light and can charge a mobile device via the usb port. It is also great for working underneath a vehicle. You can wedge it above an exhaust pipe, into a frame rail, or on top of the transmission and it stays put. There is a shield that you can adjust so the light isn’t shining into your eyes.

I do not like how the on off switch is designed on this one. It doesn’t feel comfortable and is hard to press at times to switch modes. I also don’t like how it doesn’t stand on its own w/o the battery. The m18 lantern is perfect for you if you want something better and already invested on the m18 lineup.

Another great milwaukee product I had the m18 version but liked this one was more compact. Offers a great 360 or 180 degree flood of light with great battery life even with a 2.0 battery pack. It does have hanging hook but no magnet.
