I do not like how the on off switch is designed on this one. It doesn’t feel comfortable and is hard to press at times to switch modes. I also don’t like how it doesn’t stand on its own w/o the battery. The m18 lantern is perfect for you if you want something better and already invested on the m18 lineup.

Another great milwaukee product I had the m18 version but liked this one was more compact. Offers a great 360 or 180 degree flood of light with great battery life even with a 2.0 battery pack. It does have hanging hook but no magnet.

Great lantern! I recently took this camping and it’s a great light. It was 3 brightness settings, a hook at the top so you can hang it up if you want, the beam pattern is adjustable, and you can even charge your cell phone with it. I definitely recommend this lantern!

There are 3 or 4 settings for brightness. We use this light for camping and was very bright just on the 2nd setting. We ran the light for 3 hours for 2 nights charged 2 cellphones and still had some battery left. Great product.
