The MILWAUKEE M18 ROVER Mounting Flood Light is designed to work in any workspace, jobsite, and on any surface with 1500 lumens of TRUEVIEW High Definition Output. The portable food light has two powerful magnets that allow users to mount the light onto almost any metal surface and a 2” spring-loaded clamp to fix the light to piping, dimensional lumber, jobsite equipment, cabinetry, and doors. These versatile hanging features paired with a folding and rotating light head design allow users to direct the light to any workspace to increase productivity. It is impact-resistant, capable of surviving a 9 ft. drop and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty, the LEDs never need to be replaced. Purchased light a year ago. Used in a construction environment during this time period. It was extremely handy with its powerful magnets and swivel light. The handle on it is useless – flaw one. If you spin the light in one direction all the time, you will twist the wires feeding the led’s. This causes the wires to eventually rip off of the led’s, causing them to short out and destroy the circuit board-serious flaw two. Buyer be aware. Otherwise great useful light.

I already own the smaller 12 volt flood light. But this is more versatile in that it LEDs can be positioned in almost any direction. I’m glad they incorporated a slot to pull out the clamp {the older version felt like 1 ton press}. Two negatives I found are…..1.When a 5 Ah battery is used its impossible to get your fingers into the handle…..2.The larger battery obviously adds weight to the light. But it doesn’t seem as though Milwaukee added more magnets to the underside

The big brother to the M12 rover, a lot heavier with a few more features.I do like the swivel head and the added brightness. The only down side is that you have to use nothing higher that a 6Ah xc battery or the battery sticks out bottom making magnets/rafter clamp unusable other than this one issue I cant find anything to say bad about. Money well spent!

Super bright, strong magnet does exactly what I need it to do. Only complaint is the handle. You can’t use it if you have a bigger battery. The smaller batteries die too fast so either have a few ready to go or don’t plan on using the handle.

Great Light, just went camping and used it as lighting for enclosed trailer (garage). The magnet is super strong, ending up packing up in a rain storm and forgot to take the light off the ceiling. Drove home 3+ hours and it was still magnetically stuck to the roof of the trailer. The three light output modes allowed me to select just enough light without blinding myself.

Magnets could be stronger for use on outside of trucks while driving. But great for the deck of commercial mowers after sun goes down. Gonna buy more.
