The contoured handle enables firm command and control while the responsive variable-speed trigger reacts quickly to user actions.

Awesome small lightweight cordless drill and very durable. I used to use the Makita 7.2 cordless drill for all my locksmith vans but they no longer make them. This tool is far superior and is far superior of any others made in it’s class now. The small battery at the bottom of the handle makes it very convenient to use. This is the best cordless tool I’ve ever owned and I have 43 years of experience in the trade. I’m surprised Home Depot does not carry them on the showroom floor, I’m sure they would sell a lot more, yet you can order them like I did and get it in a few days.

Great tool, great price. I ordered online. However, I opened the box and one battery was in the drill. I tried the drill and the battery was dead. I put other battery in and it worked great (half charged). I tried to charge the dead battery and it was dead dead. Other battery charged to full level just fine. There was no way to charge the dead battery. Basic stuff. So I took it back to the local store and they had me return it and order again online. Product not available in the store. Then product arrived days later (fast shipping!), I opened the box and it was exact same problem. Dead battery in the drill, other battery fine. I tried to charge dead battery and nothing. Dead. Other battery charged fine. I took it back to the local store again. This time after speaking with 5 associates they agreed to just swap out the dead battery. It took a charge and I’m on my way. Great drill!

This is my go-to tool when installing small anchors, especially in concrete. The all-metal chuck allows use of any drill bit up to 3/8″. If you are looking for a heavy-duty 12v battery tool, consider the Milwaukee SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer.

I do residential electrical work and received this as a gift. I have used it to drill holes up to 5/8″and mount masonry anchors. The ease with which this tool works is phenomenal! The battery life far exceeded my expectations. The tool also maintains pretty much the same strength whether the battery is full or nearly out, so an eye must be kept on the power gauge. I use this daily and would recommend it to any homeowner or handy person, for it can be used for many projects around the house.

The 12v is smaller and lighter than the 18v and up tools. But is very powerful and does the job.I like the easy to use hand chuck. Drill bits do not spin in the chuck when in use.2 speed, choose 1 or 2 depending upon how much power you need for what you are drilling.I used a ⅜” drill bit and drilled 12 holes through a ¼” metal frame without changing batteries or slowing down to let the tool rest. The motor was warm, not hot, and the drill had enough power to wrench itself out of my hand if the bit grabbed. This is one nice cordless drill.
