Choose between two speed settings (0-400 or 0-1500 RPM) and one of 18 clutch positions for optimal torque. The contoured handle enables firm command and control while the responsive variable-speed trigger reacts quickly to user actions.

I was first introduced to Milwaukee Power Tools in 1972. Back then they were all corded. As far as I am concerned, when it comes to buying hand held power tools there is no substitute for the quality and reliability of Milwaukee. I now only use them as a DIY’er but for years I used them professionally. I’m certain that this unit will last me the remainder of my lifetime. Some people make the mistake of buying the wrong tool for the job and blame the product. It simply lies in not having the knowledge of either the job requirements or the tool requirements. For home maintenance and even small building projects like a garage this fits the bill perfectly!

First off this is not a massive tank of a hammer drill. This is not for the professional drilling 3/4″ holes in masonry all day. That’s ok, because that’s not what it was designed for.This is however a premium tool designed for lighter duty tasks. Make no mistakes, this is not a toy. It’s size is deceiving. I do a lot of woodworking and prefer a hammer drill in a lot of cases. Some wood species like hard maple and ash burn very easily with high speed drilling. I’ve found a hammer drill works exceptionally well at slower speeds – especially with counterbore drill bits. The driver portion works well also.I really like the compact size and quick battery charging. the battery live is more than acceptable given it’s size.Previously if you wanted a hammer drill, you needed something twice this size. This is a great product for people who need to get into tight spots, Milwaukee continues to deliver top notch quality in all of their products. In my shop, If it turns a screw or a drill bit, it says Milwaukee on it

the drill is of perfect size for home projects instead of using a larger model it still has plenty of power and battery life is good I purchased two of the larger batteries but would have been fine with the original that was supplied I highly recommend this unit
