Great little drill. Put it to work drilling holes in a slab to anchor sub floors. Drill worked like a pro type drill. Love to have a good cement pounder.

I was so excited to get this tool after i saw it existed. I drill a lot of quarter inch holes overhead and in walls for anchors and i normally have to get a cord out and use the bosch. With this tool i now have a light cordless drill that will handle the job easily. The drill is very light and feels cheap. That being said you put a hot battery on it with a good bit and it will drill into concrete like a champ. My guys are already begging to use my new toy.For those that use hammer drills like the bosch extreme then you’ll know where i’m coming from with this next statement. This drill is quiet! I work in highrises and no hammerdrilling during the day is standard. Now i haven’t tried to get away with using this during the day but i’m going to try at some point. I don’t know how this drill can quietly hammer a hole but it does. If you watch a video of this on youtube you will see how it sounds rickety which it does sound cheap but its not that loud and the hammer is super minimal. the drill running is making that noise.Overall for the price i Think its a great tool, I’m using it everyday! Think i might even get the drill vac when it comes out as an accessory!

I used this to install about 1,000′ of 3/4″ emt for an outdoor lighting job on a brick building. the 4.0 battery im using with it didn’t even use half its capacity at the end of each day. this thing is lighter and better than just a hammer drill. Minimal vibration, doesn’t get hot. pair this with the m12 sub compact bandsaw, and you’ll never try anything else when you’re installing smaller sized conduit onto masonry. seriously, the light weight and killer run time made me feel like I was cheating compared to when I have the full size sds out or use the ramset for this type of work. The m12 line has some legit contenders for space on an electricians truck. I also use their cable cutter, and want to write milwaukee a thank you note every time I do.

This drill is a classic case of “Big things come in small packages”. I was thrilled that someone finally came out with a cordless SDS Plus drill, this thing is just as fast as my corded drill but has the luxury of being cordless and part of the the vastly expanding M12 line of tools. It drills holes for Tap-Cons and other hangers as fast as the corded drills but with 1/3 the weight. It is surprising how little vibration there is and I love that it comes with 2 XC Batteries. If you are looking to drill anchors and other small holes than this will not disappoint, just don’t buy one expecting to drill holes for conduit penetrations you will need the M18 or M28 for that. The Case is perfect, has plenty of storage for your bits and things I haven’t figured out what they are for, but Milwaukee is good about making their cases accept accessory boxes and accessories.

This is a great light to medium duty rotary drill. You can’t compare the way rotary drill to a standard hammer drill. Its faster by a few seconds but the real difference is the effort. With just light pressure you can drill masonry holes in a few seconds. I’m using it primarily for fastening and anchoring in masonry. I also bought the driving kit which has a sleeve that slides over the supplied rotary bit and turns it into driver and comes with several screw bits. No need to fuss with another drill. Takes me about 20 seconds while working on a ladder to switch. I’ve only had it for a few days, but I’m pretty positive it will be my goto drill for a while. If the tool lives up to what I expect I can look into the many M12 tools.

This is a remarkably capable hammer drill that is so light it’s hard to believe. The power has never let me down been drilling up to 1/2” holes.

Did the job well. Mounted 18 cabinets to cmu on one battery. Light weight. No cord! Save the big Bosch beast for chipping. Love it.

I use this exclusively for smaller holes in concrete and masonry block. I’m in the electrical biz and this roto-hammer is awesome for jiffy clips and mounting boxes. It’s super light and the battery life is actually pretty decent. It drills through concrete like butter with the new Milwaukee bits. This little drill will only drill up to a 1/2″ diameter hole so do not expect it to replace your full size roto-hammer.

I’ve been an electrician for 6 years and after lugging around cords and heavy/big rotary drills, this tool is a massive time/hassle saver. Wish I would have gotten this sooner! Perfect for strapping conduit and mc. I used to avoid running wire on block or concrete, but no more! Great purchase!
