Our M12 Oscillating Multi-Tool Kit has the versatility, power, and control to complete problematic job site applications. The MILWAUKEE multi-tool is ideal for remodelers, flooring contractors, maintenance repair technicians, and electricians. It performs cuts, grinds, sands, and scrapes at odd angles and in difficult work areas. The cordless multi-tool is powered by our M12 REDLITHIUM Battery, providing up to 25% more runtime. The oscillating multi-tool can make flush or plunge cuts, remove grout, sand and tackle other awkward jobs. It operates from 5,000 to 20,000 OPM, matching the speed to the application. An all-metal gear case provides added durability, while the over-molded, ergonomic handle allows for extra control. The included universal adapter allows you to use our M12 Multi-Tool with most competitor accessories for even greater versatility. The cordless multi-tool kit includes one M12 REDLITHIUM CP1.5 Battery Pack and one M12 Battery Charger.

The oscillating tool meets all my expectations. The only problem was when I received the tool, the included battery would not take a charge. I placed it on 3 different chargers with the same result. I then took the battery to the local home depot, and they replaced the battery with a new one. Works great now.

The tool holds up well.The tool is small enough to get into tight spaces, yet powerful enough to get the job done.The last project was refinishing a deck. I used the tool to clean out the old finish and debris from the joints between the deck boards. It preformed flawlessly over hours of use during the two day project.

Doesn’t hold attachments sturdy enough, needs something to brace them in front better. A guide would be helpful too. Not terrible, just prefer the 18 volt and DeWalt designs

To my surprise, The multi tool came with some basic attachments for cutting and sanding. I used the cutting tool to cut wood and plastic and was very satisfied with it. I had no issues with the battery coming loose as I read in other reviews, in fact it takes some effort to remove the battery.

I bought the tool (2426-22) only because I have 3 other Milwaukee 12V with batteries. One of HD’s web pages showed the ” also purchased” items to include a gauge attachment. After ordering and receiving that piece I noticed the tool cannot accomodate the gauge because it doesn’t have the necessary lip such as the pricier model has. Another unnecessary trip to HD.
