This was a gift for my grandson. He asked for it as he has multiple Milwaukee tools.

Great lightweight bandsaw. Super easy to handle one handed and gets the majority of the jobs done even with it’s smaller cut size. Perfect for running 1/2”-1” conduit and up to 1 5/8” strut. Battery goes all day no problem!

I was on the fence about buying this tool because I really wanted a Fuel version of this tool, however, I bought it several weeks ago because it came with the free 2.0 battery on a promotion and I really needed a band saw for a job at work. Granted, this tool will eat the 2.0 fast so I use my 4.0 and 6.0 batteries and they really hold up for this tool. I use the 2.0 for some of my smaller M12 tools. I have cut bolts, brackets, 1.5 copper L pipe, EMT, CPVC and more. It has cut everything I have given it. My biggest issue with this saw is the throat size. At 1 5/8 it falls short for some jobs. I would like to see a 2″ throat to accommodate more cutting options. Overall for small tasks it is great. I wish it had a ladder hook because even though it is one handed operation I still have to lay it when I am up in the air. I just work around it. This a great little tool in a great line of M12 tools.

Prefect small bandsaw if you are mainly cutting lighter material.

Great for cutting small pieces of iron because of the weight. A full size port a band is just too heavy for small cuts.

A replacement for the same tool I’ve had for many years

After brief use I can only say that this tiny bandsaw seems to work well on EMT and steel struts… within its throat size. (You won’t be doing the big stuff!) That’s fine, though, ‘cause the whole point of this rig is to let you control the tool with one hand, up on a ladder or even overhead.
