WORKS OUT REALLY GOOD FOR US WITH AREA WHERE NO ELECTRICITY IS AVAILABLE

Only knock is batteries don’t last very long . Had to go back and get larger battery , but works excellently in small areas such as my case on a boat

Once again, I’m blown away by the power and quality that Milwaukee packs into their M12 tools. This polisher is great for detail work, and the sanding feature is a nice bonus too. If you’re wondering, “Why not just grab a cordless drill and use a polishing attachment?” then take a second look a the operating speeds listed in the specs. Typical operating speeds for cordless drills are 500-1500 RPM, depending on the mode selected. This tool runs up to 2,800 RPM on polishing mode and 8,300 RPM on sanding mode. The kit comes in a soft sided nylon case that seems to be well constructed. It’s got Velcro straps for tool and accessory retention, as well as a mesh pocket for the polishing/sanding mandrels and polishing pads. The kit includes two M12 batteries, a charger, the tool, a removable side handle, a polishing mandrel, two foam polishing pads, a wool polishing pad, and a sanding mandrel. (The sanding mandrel is compatible with Roloc sanding discs, which aren’t included with the kit.)Getting everything set up is a snap. The batteries charge in under 30 minutes, and all the accessories can be installed without the need of tools. The shaft lock button is easy to use, but out of the way enough that you’re not likely to press it while the tool is operating. The removable side handle can be installed on either the right or left side just by screwing it into the tapped holes. It sits at about a 110° angle from the main handle – just right for a providing a comfortable grip for two-handed control of the tool. The variable speed trigger is also easy to control, and really lets you fine-tune the speed the tool is operating at.The first time I used the polisher, I covered about 9 sq ft with the yellow foam pad. Afterwards, the battery gauge was indicating between 1/2 and 3/4 charge remaining. Extrapolating that out to the rest of the battery life means that you should be able to heavily polish up to 30 sq ft per charge. Seeing that the batteries can be charged in under 30 minutes, you won’t have to spend much time (if any) waiting for batteries to charge, even if you’re operating it almost continually.

use this unit every single day at a car dealership and it does the job fast and with great results highly recommend, one thing to note it does use up the small batteries fast would recommend getting the 4.0ho batteries also if you plan to use its alot

I use the sanding pad to remove gasket material when working on engines. Power is OK but the battery life seems short. Having the second battery gets me through this issue. It would be nice if it used a standard chuck instead of the fine thread receiver so other bits could be used as well.

This rig is awesome. Bought it to clean gasket surfaces. Was able to run the 3” skuff wheels with no problems using the 3.0ah batteries

The first time I held this tool I knew this was NOT no toy!!! Not cheap and I’m glad that Milwaukee tools are not. I don’t want cheap junk that is a throw away. Thanks Milwaukee for keeping the quality and not compromising. My strength comes from my tools. I am proud of it. Thanks Greg Reed
