A new favorite tool.A lot of these m18/m12 tools are total turds and a useless gimmic (ie the M18 fuel 3/8″ impact, m12 cut off saw).This little jewel here is not a buffer for refinishing boats or semis, it’s for precision work where compact size, low speeds and precise maneuverability is a godsend. I’ve used this on a motorcycle swing arm to completely strip the hard anodoze coating off for polishing – stripped the entire swing arm on one battery charge and one 3″ roloc disc,-amazing!!!! It’s perfect for polishing and refinishing headlights, touch up paint spots and scratches, polishing aluminum to mirror finish, dozens of other uses.There are hundreds of other disc out there for polishing and sanding.Accept both 3″ velcro backed disc, and the 2″ 3m spiroloc attachments. Very versatile tool, lightweight, easy to use.Highly recommend. Good job Big Red and Home Depot!!!!

Easy to use. Two speeds helped me not burn what I was polishing. Battery holds up really well and there are compatible replacement buffing and polishing pads sold at Home Depot and auto parts stores.
