Great tool. I really like how solid the tool is cuts down on vibration. The handle for this product is different than the usual jigsaw saws however it doesn’t detract from in fact it adds to the usefulness. This is my first Milwaukee purchase and I plan to make more

I bought this as a Father’s Day gift for my husband and he’s already used it on several projects. Each time he tells me how much he loves it. Definitely a good purchase!

This is a nice addition to my M12 collection. Enough power easily buzz thru 1/2 inch plywood. Came with a blade, even though it was a bare tool.

Works great. Only thing is when your making cut you need to constantly blow the saw dust off the cut to see were your cutting.
Rose Crona (verified owner) –
It’s ok it does build up a bunch of dust and you can’t see the line anymore. It has power and does the job.
Dallin Skiles (verified owner) –
Plenty of power for small projects.

Easy to use and works great. It is hefty and has some weight to it. Feels solid and seems to run well for long periods of time without getting hot.

Excellent tool, got more of 12v tools. Very light and convenient. Great for remodeling.

The build up of sawdust covers the cut line, you have to constantly be blowing the dust out of the way. Very annoying!

Perfect smooth and quite compact jig saw.

To start off, let me say that the only reason I said I wouldn’t recommend this jig saw is that it’s just a bit underpowered and slow for cutting woods thicker than 3/4″ thick. Spend the extra few dollars and buy the m18 jigsaw. It’s more powerful and an overall better saw. Having said that, if you still decide to get this jig saw, it’s a built extremely well, just like all other Milwaukee tools. It runs on the M12 battery so if you already have M12 tools, this will fit right in. The saw has great ergonomics and is nice and light. For light use, this is the jig saw to get. The jig saw comes with a free blade and I actually found it to be a fantastic blade. It’s actually my go-to blade now.

This is a great, portable light-duty jigsaw. I’ve had it for a couple of months and done a few projects with it (a little bookshelf, squatty potties, wall hanging). I found that it’s pretty easy to control, tracks straight, good blade. I wouldn’t use this on thicker lumber – a 2×4 would stretch the limits of its capability – but great for smaller jobs and highly portable. Bonus is that it is compatible with my other M12 tools. Aside from not being ideal for heavier duty jobs, the biggest drawback to this is the lack of a blower. A lot of sawdust builds up when cutting making it more difficult to track straight. You have to be pretty confident in following the arrow marker on the front of the tool, as the sawdust builds up on and around the base when cutting. If you have reasonable expectations about what you’re getting, it’s a great tool.

Overall I like the jig saw . Don’t expect too much power. This jig is ideal for plywood 5/8 “ and down . 3/4 ply would be to slow .This came in handy especially if your laying down some flooring . You.ll avoid those trips back and forth outside to make those corner cuts .

Light weight, easy to use, not for heavy contractor work
