Works okay. My problem with it was the base vibrated off of it after about 15 minutes of use. klKept tightening it with the hand lever kept coming loose and eventually fell apart. Had to take it all apart and re tighten everything hop it doesn’t happen next time I use it.

I bought this specifically to use with coping jigs. This saw completely blew me away with its ability. Variable speed, quick blade release. The ONLY TWO things that I would change and/or improve is. 1 add some dust blower to keep cut path clear and the clear pastic cut guide/guard only in the way, thankfully it is easily removable. Otherwise this thing in incredible.

Great tool and all the power I need. The anti-splinter guard is actually helpful so overall a solid buy. One drawback for me is the motor hangs so far over the blade I’m looking backward to see my cut more than what I’m cutting ahead.

Only issue i had was that the jigsaw doesnt take normal U blades. Would like to have seen a larger printing on the box to make me aware to buy a stack of blades. Luckily one came with the saw.

It’s Milwaukee, need I say more? No…well, I will. I was truly amazed at the power of this 12v. Maybe I’m crazy, but it’s comparable to the 18v power wise. Granted, I wasn’t using it on metal, or thick stock. Nonetheless, its size and power are surprising.

Small, comfortable, great for stair stringers, rafter bird’s mouth cuts etc. Nice not tripping over cord. Maybe not good for deep hardwood cuts but haven’t tried yet. All around handy.

I am already invested in the 12v Milwaukee system with a cordless drill and saws-all. This is a great addition to my toolbox. The smaller 12v battery from the drill powers the jigsaw fine, plenty of speed and power. But I only had a few cuts to make for a craft project so I do not know how long the smaller battery will power the jigsaw. It was fine for several simple cuts through pressed board. I took off one star because it is hard to see a line when sawing because of sawdust buildup on the clear plastic foot. There is a center indicator on the clear foot in front of the blade but it’s ~1/4″ ahead so not every useful when making curved or precision cuts. Feels well made and balanced and should last years. I did not try to angle the foot, or use different blades, or cut plastics or metal yet.
