It’s Milwaukee, need I say more? No…well, I will. I was truly amazed at the power of this 12v. Maybe I’m crazy, but it’s comparable to the 18v power wise. Granted, I wasn’t using it on metal, or thick stock. Nonetheless, its size and power are surprising.

Works great. Only thing is when your making cut you need to constantly blow the saw dust off the cut to see were your cutting.

Great tool and all the power I need. The anti-splinter guard is actually helpful so overall a solid buy. One drawback for me is the motor hangs so far over the blade I’m looking backward to see my cut more than what I’m cutting ahead.

I bought this specifically to use with coping jigs. This saw completely blew me away with its ability. Variable speed, quick blade release. The ONLY TWO things that I would change and/or improve is. 1 add some dust blower to keep cut path clear and the clear pastic cut guide/guard only in the way, thankfully it is easily removable. Otherwise this thing in incredible.

This is a great, portable light-duty jigsaw. I’ve had it for a couple of months and done a few projects with it (a little bookshelf, squatty potties, wall hanging). I found that it’s pretty easy to control, tracks straight, good blade. I wouldn’t use this on thicker lumber – a 2×4 would stretch the limits of its capability – but great for smaller jobs and highly portable. Bonus is that it is compatible with my other M12 tools. Aside from not being ideal for heavier duty jobs, the biggest drawback to this is the lack of a blower. A lot of sawdust builds up when cutting making it more difficult to track straight. You have to be pretty confident in following the arrow marker on the front of the tool, as the sawdust builds up on and around the base when cutting. If you have reasonable expectations about what you’re getting, it’s a great tool.
