The jig saw handle design combines the best features from both top handle and barrel grip jigsaws to provide superior cut control and a low center of gravity grip for precision during curved cutting applications. A powerful 3/4 in. stroke length and 0-2,800 SPM variable speed trigger deliver fast and accurate cuts in multiple materials. The Jig Saw features a QUIK-LOK T-Shank blade clamp and tool free 450 bevel capability for quick and easy tool adjustments. Overall I like the jig saw . Don’t expect too much power. This jig is ideal for plywood 5/8 “ and down . 3/4 ply would be to slow .This came in handy especially if your laying down some flooring . You.ll avoid those trips back and forth outside to make those corner cuts .

This jigsaw is very powerful for a 12v saw! Also last quite a long time has several adjustments on it. Not very many improvements could be made. If you decide to angle cut make sure to remove the plastic line guide otherwise it will cut into it.

This tool is a good basic jigsaw but after using an old cordless Dewalt 18 volt it simply doesn’t make the cut . My top criticism is as follows. 1. There is no blower to blow away the dust on your cutting line. 2. You don’t have a clear view of your line between the dust accumulation and the body of the tool making it difficult to see your line. 3. In my opinion the D handle is more comfortable and easier to control than this type of design. Everything else about this saw is good. The price the power, ability to cut a 2×4, ease of blade changes, led light is a nice feature when you’re using it in low light, battery life was good too. I used this in the real world and decided for the price it’s a good saw. But I will definitely pay more for being able to see the line I’m cutting. The dewalt is more expensive but is the better tool. Keep in mind that I have the old 18 volt tool but the new one should perform even better. If you can’t afford the better option the Milwaukee isn’t bad but you have to get used to its shortcomings.

I am already invested in the 12v Milwaukee system with a cordless drill and saws-all. This is a great addition to my toolbox. The smaller 12v battery from the drill powers the jigsaw fine, plenty of speed and power. But I only had a few cuts to make for a craft project so I do not know how long the smaller battery will power the jigsaw. It was fine for several simple cuts through pressed board. I took off one star because it is hard to see a line when sawing because of sawdust buildup on the clear plastic foot. There is a center indicator on the clear foot in front of the blade but it’s ~1/4″ ahead so not every useful when making curved or precision cuts. Feels well made and balanced and should last years. I did not try to angle the foot, or use different blades, or cut plastics or metal yet.

This is a great, portable light-duty jigsaw. I’ve had it for a couple of months and done a few projects with it (a little bookshelf, squatty potties, wall hanging). I found that it’s pretty easy to control, tracks straight, good blade. I wouldn’t use this on thicker lumber – a 2×4 would stretch the limits of its capability – but great for smaller jobs and highly portable. Bonus is that it is compatible with my other M12 tools. Aside from not being ideal for heavier duty jobs, the biggest drawback to this is the lack of a blower. A lot of sawdust builds up when cutting making it more difficult to track straight. You have to be pretty confident in following the arrow marker on the front of the tool, as the sawdust builds up on and around the base when cutting. If you have reasonable expectations about what you’re getting, it’s a great tool.
