Like the title says, I got it as a “gift” when I purchased an M12 Hackzall in a kit (charger + 4Ah battery). To be honest, I use the ratchet way more than the Hackzall – and it’s GREAT. Such a time saver and way better than using my M12 Impact + adapter.

Have had this tool for about 4 years now and while it may not have as much power it still works. I am an auto technician so it gets used everyday. It even spent a Wisconsin winter under the hood of a truck and when I got it back it still had a little charge left in the battery. Next time I will buy the Fuel option but that was not available when I purchased this one.

Getting the fender flares of my jeep proved to be a challenge since the rivet nuts just spun. With this ratchet I was able to concentrate on holding the nut with vice grips. This ratchet busted the rusty bolts lose with ease. It is light enough to handle with one hand and powerful enough to overcome the rusted on bolts. Great investment!

I haven’t been a fan of cordless ratchets because they are noisier than pneumatic ratchets, or at least the ones I use. This M12 cordless 1/4″ ratchet is quiet, sturdy, and efficient compared to the other brands I have tried. I like the feature that the head stops moving when final torque is achieved, doesn’t continue to ratchet. I would recommend this tool for light to medium duty mechanic work, home use, or contractors looking for a solution of using hand ratchets.

Good Quality. Heavy duty torque. A real time saver when working with multiple fasteners. Long lasting charge. Don’t like the fact that you have to buy the battery and charger separately. Especially since the Home Depot website listed the tool with battery and charger at the same price I paid for the tool only. Still, a worthwhile purchase that will be used many times in the future.
