If anyone is looking to make thier mechanic jobs easier then you definitely need a cordless ratchet. Milwaukee makes great 12volt models. I have the 1/4″ and 3/8″ drive models and love them. Worked them all day long without having to recharge. Forget manual and pneumatic, time to upgrade to lithium. You will thank youself..

within a year of purchase ball on anvil went bad and would not hold sockets took it to authorized repair dealer and was told it was wear and tear and would not be covered so why spend the extra money to buy milwaukee and they wont stand behind their tools. otherwise I like the tool and all the other milwaukee tools that I own

Getting the fender flares of my jeep proved to be a challenge since the rivet nuts just spun. With this ratchet I was able to concentrate on holding the nut with vice grips. This ratchet busted the rusty bolts lose with ease. It is light enough to handle with one hand and powerful enough to overcome the rusted on bolts. Great investment!

Maybe my expectations were too high… When i have run into a bolt that it could not break loose, which is basically every one, I have used it as a ratch but I find that I end up pushing against the side of the battery and can feel the tool flex. It is either too short or too weak in that area.
