Great tool…I build houses with Habitat for Humanity, and we are allways looking for new tools, and it fits into my tool pouch and I can carry it up into the trusses or anywhere else.. my fellow crew members are jealous…

My first impressions were a bit weary. It definitely has a different feel than a pneumatic, but not necessarily all bad. It does take an extra 1/2 sec. to sink a 16d through a few 2x’s, and it doesn’t have as much “kick-back,” but I’ve noticed that this tool seems to use fewer blows to sink a nail, which ends up being more efficient. I highly recommend that you pick up a few lbs. of different nails that you use, grab a few scraps from the woodpile, and slam a few hundred “practice” nails so that you can get the feel. Once you do; you’ll be more satisfied with this tool.

I am a frame and finish carpenter, while I would have loved it if this tool could hold a wider array of nails it comes in very handy for tight spots when framing, also when using it with the 3.0ah battery it is easy to handle, and great for hitting great angles, surprisingly powerful for its size, as it stamps into processed, and hard woods..

Not bad. Not bad at all. Definitely not a pneumatic in terms of speed or power, but it definitely gets the job done. Was a little tricky for me to get the hang of starting nails with it, my pneumatic does that nicely, but I was pleasantly surprised with the effectiveness of this tool.

I bought this for my husband and he loves it. It works great in tight spots where a regular hammer is difficult to use or if you just want to save your arm.

Good hand nailer. Not a a palm nailer. Battery last for good amount of time . Pretty powerful . But this unit is too heavy and too bulky for tight spots.

Unbelievable power. I am very impressed and purchased it to put up a lean to attached my my garage.Nerve damage to my left hand makes starting a nail a challenge. The magnet in this nailer makes it very easy for me to start and seat nails at a very fast pace.

I found this palm nailer very useful in tight places. However, you can’t use it with a nail head less than a 0.20 inch diameter. (Measure the head of an 8d box nail to see what that looks like.) In other words, there are some 8d box nails that will get stuck in this nailer. I used it to drive 10d nails, and it worked fine, but there is a learning curve. First of all, you must position the sleeve of the nailer fairly straight on the nail head before nailing. Otherwise, the nail will bend. Also, it is a little tricky to get the nail driven flush to the 2 by 4 without overdoing it because this palm nailer is powerful, and if you go too far, it will put a gouge in the wood. Although it is a little awkward to use due to the width of the tool, I found it easy enough to hold, even though I don’t have big hands. Wear ear protection, because when the nail is being driven, it is pretty loud. It’s great tool.

Awesome tool, especially for crawl spaces or any tight areas. I bought a couple extra batteries also.

I used this tool to drive a railroad spike i cant believe that anyone who has used this tool could have an issue. quick charging batteries reduce down time and will drive lots of nails off one charge.

The Palm Nailer works great! A few hrs of use w/ My 4Ahr 12V Batt( 3” spikes into joist hangers & sistered 2x lumber), only dropped one 1/4 of the battery life. Counter to what some others have said in HD reviews (IME) the nails drive true, it helps to grab the nail shank to get a purchase point.
