The 2447-20 is designed to drive a range of 3/8 in. flat crown staples (1/4 in.- 9/16 in.) through an array of materials and substrates. At just 3.0 lbs. and 7.5 in. long the compact design allows for great access into tight spaces and convenient tool belt portability. I was aprehensive about getting the m12 because I didn’t expect much power. Boy, was I wrong! This is a nice tool! Light and powerful. Batteries last a long time. Buy one! You won’t regret it! Milwaukee has really upped the game with their range of tools. M12, m18, and even the hand tools are great.

Truth be told, I have yet to remove my new Milwaukee impact driver from it’s holster but I have inserted a freshly charged battery in it’s hold in preparation for it’s future use. It sure does look good.Time will tell but from the it’s partner “the drill”, it works like a charm. These tools are what I expected and more. And I’m a fan of the small battery option and it’s handy handle and balanced feel. 🙂

This is replacing my Dewalt impact. I like the light weight and it has plenty of power. I would definitely recommend getting two batteries because under heavy use you will need to swap out every 20 minutes or so. That still gives you plenty of time to recharge.

Those Milwaukee cordless impact is great and easy use. Lightweight, good for tight space instead of using big drill, great work on automotive installing wiring with wire clips by using Milwaukee impact Hex self tap screws inserts into any size thick of metal. First of all I’ve been an 18 volt man for years……so I was skeptical about going back to a 12 volt tool. Boy am I glad I did! Either battery technology has greatly improved or electric motors have, ’cause this little tool is POWERFUL! Easy to grip and use for hours on end….unlike my 18 volt tools. Its compact size is ideal for engine bay, chassis and under-dash working. When I use the slender battery it fits in most places I need it to. When I put in the 4 amp battery its a bit larger but not bad. The 4 amp battery does outlast the slender one but both are solid performers.i have the M12 grease gun, 12 volt hammer drill, and 12 volt regular drill now too….all because I was bold enough to take a second look at my first impression regarding 12 volt tools. Oh, and I also like that Milwaukee seems content to stick with a battery design for more than 2 years…..something most all other cordless tool makers DON’T do. I now have 4 batteries (2 four amp, 2 slender) for my M12 tools. I simply cannot say enough about Milwaukee. Yes, they are more expensive then other brands but they are worth the extra cost. Thank you Home Depot for going ahead and stocking this better quality, slightly more expensive line of tools. This handyman is grateful to you.

I purchased this impact about 3 years ago. I have put it through much abuse with automotive related tasks, constantly getting drenched in brake fluid, oil, brake cleaner, anything you can think of. For years this tool as performed flawlessly. I would recommend for a small and compact impact with a fair amount of torque for its size. I would definitely buy again if I ever would need to replace it.
