Too cumbersome, Still need to torque Manuel, just do pre-torque

Seems like a great tool, though i really see no reason for it not to have a torque angle setting. If it had an angle setting I’d be sold. Looking forward to an improved version that does have this.

I love thus tool. Being avid milwaukee m18 and m12 collector this is one of my pride and joy tools. Its very unique on how it records the torque specs while in use truly one of a kind. If yiu can afford it its a must have id opt for the kit so you can have the hard case and extra batteries makes for a good travel kit if your on the go like me. Only thing I wished it had was angle measurements you’d think for such a prestigious tool and cost it would have that but o well I can just use a protractor for angle. Any career mechanic should have this tool

this tools saves time ! the tool is easy to set the different values , the display can be read easily and the green light is a great visual aid for inspectors to know the desired torque was achieved

In the automotive field if this had torque angle this tool would amazing but it does not.

I use it in a variety of settings but primarily for auto maintenance in which specific torques are necessary. Awesome tool. Though I do wish there was a protective boot…

This is a precision tool that replaces the need for both a impact driver and digital torque wrench and combines them into one, and it comes from the factory with its own individual calibration certificate. It is part of the Fuel series of tools with a brushless motor which offers longer lasting performance while being more efficient. The kit comes with the torque wrench, two – 2Ah M12 batteries, M12 charger, blow molded case, and operator’s manual + quick start guide. I read through both the operator’s manual and the quick start guide to help familiarize myself with the tool’s capabilites. The batteries came partially charged so I put them on the charger and had them fully charged in about 20-30 minutes each. The color LED screen on the torque wrench features menus and programs that allow you to scroll through to located your desired torque and program how much variance around that torque specification. There is a paddle trigger to activate the drive to tighten or loosen your fastner, then there are a series of LED’s as well as an audible alarm to warn when you are nearing your desired torque setting. You can enter and save several torque specifications and put them into the memory if repetition of the same fastener or application is done frequently. I believe that is where this wonderful tool really shines. The torque specifications can be in FT-LBS (10-100), Nm (13.7-135.5), IN-LBS (120-1200) and KG-CM (139-1382). I found the 2Ah batteries to be sufficient for my usage for run time but for high-usage users doing a lot of repetitive tightening and torquing of fasteners may want to consider some higher amp hour M12 batteries. Another great feature is this tool is part of Milwaukee’s OneKey system that when paired with a smartphone will allow further customization and tracking of individual tools. Overall, this torque wrench is something every tool enthusiast should own that demands the finest and most accurate performance.

Being an automotive technician, there’s only one draw back. No angle meter. Almost every application in our field requires torque angle as a final step. If this added I’m sold. Otherwise I need to my other tool anyway.

Works great for the specified torque ranges. Probably one of the nicest Torque wrenches out there if you aren’t doing torque angle. The ability to save that your torque values Is great And the one key functionality is another great add on to this tool.

Nice tool – but not as useful as I expected. This Milwaukee Digital Torque Wrench (Model 2565-22) combines a 3/8” square drive wrench with a torque sensor and digital display but the motor does not drive the fastener to the selected torque – it still requires hand tightening while monitoring the display to achieve the desired torque. There are controls to set the target (desired) torque, as well has the option to stop the motor some amount before the target torque is set, but I found the motor stopped long before target torque no matter how I set it. Achieving the target torque always required hand torquing. The unit includes Milwaukee’s “One-Key” technology which, frankly, I don’t use so didn’t test. The control also has memory functions so you can save torque presets (e.g. Target Torque and tolerance) as well as actual torque values – useful if you need proof of torquing fasteners in critical applications. The display is bright and colorful for easy visibility, but I found the controls somewhat awkward, requiring extra key presses and/or using non-intuitive keys to select the desired option. It’s easy to get used to after awhile. Two other minor issues I have with the tool. The ForwardReverse (tighten/loosen) switch on the drive head works backwards to me. Turning it clockwise (CW) makes the drive reverse(loosen) the fastener; turning it CCW sets the drive to tighten the fastener. There are no markings on the switch, though it’s shown in the instruction manual. It’s obvious if you run the motor before attaching the socket to the fastener, but I found myself “tightening” a nut when I was trying to loosen it. The other minor gripe is the trigger lock (see photo). It’s a small slide switch just forward of the paddle switch and it is very stiff. Mine requires more force than I can easily apply with my finger to disengage the lock. I’d be tempted to leave it unlocked but it’s very easy to engage that paddle when storing the unit in the included hard case. That switch may loosen up with more use. The unit is fairly hefty, weighing in at over 5.5 lbs, and it’s got about 22” of lever arm so high-level torquing is easier than with shorter wrenches. The kit comes with 2, 2Ah batteries and a 12V-only charger (unlike other Milwaukee chargers, it will not charge both M12 and the M18 batteries). This is a high-quality tool at a high price, and it will certainly save some time for tradesmen doing a LOT of mid-range, high precision torquing, but it’s “overkill” for the rest of us.

This cordless torque wrench kit is a great tool for mechanical assembly work. It is a power ratchet that tightens the fastener, and stops short of the target torque, and then you finish the torquing to target by hand. A series of LEDs light as you approach the target torque, and the display turns green when the target is reached. Tool also vibrates to let you know yo are approaching and reaching torque. Tool starts in quick mode where you set the target and use it. If more control is needed, there are modes that can be stored and recalled for often used parameters. I found the tool simple to set up and use. The ONE-KEY app is great, and allows further customization. This tool is ideally suited for repetitive assembly tasks to reduce the need to switch tools. I find it handy for every day mechanical work. A great kit!

Superbly engineered digital torque wrench taking the guess work out of accurate, consistent results – see video. This time saver can be programmed to set and retain Quick Modes that are quickly called on to reproduce the exact same torque profiles again and again. Numerous functions are available to fit the precise custom needs of the mechanic and technician. The green and red screen bands mean that ‘at a glance’ the operator can save time and get the torque right every time, again and again. Security of this vital tool is via the excellent One Key app where new acquisitions are added to the inventory where they can be located and controlled.

Milwaukee is coming out with some really great automotive tools and this torque wrench kit is awesome. It’s really accurate as I also own a regular torque wrench and it was on the dot. I really like the meter on it as your getting closer to the desired torque. Easily readable and the it lights up telling you how close you are. The screen is really nice and very adjustable from ft. lbs. , Nm, in. lbs. and kg-cm. It’s really easy to adjust for desired torque and it has one key and that feature is awesome as you can do it from your phone also. I just wished the 3/8 version would at least go up to 150 ft. lbs. max setting. That would be my only gripe is that 100 ft. lbs in my opinion is a little low. One key is great because I can totally lock the tool out so no one else can use it except me. If your familiar with one key then you know just how much more adjustability and security you have over your tool. The kit is two 2ah batteries, charger , wrench and it’s a very nice kit. Great rugged case and light weight and not bulky. Battery life is definitely up there. I definitely think for guys in automotive or other trades where your torquing its a professional must have. Very professional quality tool and I’m excited to see what the future holds with Milwaukee. Definitely in my opinion competing with snap on and other top brands.
