The M12 Plastic Pipe Shear can cut through 2” schedule 80 PVC in three seconds or less. Its razor-sharp pierce-point leaves pipe and tubing clean, burr-free, and ready for installation, minimizing the time users spend on the job. Instantly open the jaw to increase productivity in repetitive cuts by using the tool’s quick blade release. I actually planned on using this to prune small branches in a landscaping situation. It does a great job on diameters up to 1.5” or even 1.75”. I wanted to spare my arm muscles the stress of tendonitis from using manual loppers all day. A little heavier than I expected, but that’s what makes it tough. It operates slower than I can lop branches manually, so it wasn’t totally practical, but it helped me get the job done and overcome my overuse injury.
