The MILWAUKEE M12 Copper Tubing Cutter is the industry’s first cordless unit, cutting up to 10X faster than conventional tubing cutters. Milwaukee engineered this versatile copper tubing cutter for plumbers, mechanical contractors, and remodelers that runs at 500 RPM for unmatched cutting speed. The M12 Battery (sold separately) and ultra-efficient gearing allow users to make up to 200 cuts on a single charge. The patent-pending cutting mechanism automatically adjusts diameter to cut Type K, L, and M copper pipes from 3/8” to 1” (OD from ½” to 1-1/8”). The unique rotating cutting head cuts installed copper piping with as little as 1-1/2” clearance, and the lightweight, the inline design provides users with a longer reach and reduces wrist strain when working in confined spaces. A built-in LED light illuminates the cutting surface. The electronic overload protection and unibody construction provide maximum durability. An onboard, real-time battery fuel gauge helps users monitor the charge precisely, so there’s less downtime on the job.

Tired of cramps when cutting pipe? Well you need this tool. Makes life just that much easier when cutting pipe. Just slide the tool over your mark to cut and hold a button. It is a bit bulky to for cutting in between walls so sometimes I still have used my old cutters.

I remodel bathrooms and specialize in tub to shower conversions. We basically replace and relocate small diameter pipes so cutting and soldering was our past, now we use uponor and these and seriously can do in 45 minutes what took 2 hours or better before. The cutters cannot be pushed into the pipe to hard; I think that is main issues with them having problems in field. Some techs are baby gorillas we all know and they are the ones that invariably have issues with the more technical equipment and tools as they are rougher with them. This tool will fit in same space as a mini-cutter and your hand to twist it; it does in ten seconds what takes a minute plus by hand. Add the pro press and PEX to equation and your productivity and end quality is vastly improved and much less likelihood of leaks in near future inside the walls and no more torches!

I’m using this more than I thought I would. Gets into tight spaces and cuts clean. Took a little bit of getting used to because if it doesn’t lock squarely onto pipe it will cut crooked or not cut st all.

I love this tool, yes you have to be careful with it no it’s not gonna last forever but it does well and the price is fair.

Saved my wrists from cutting with a manual pipe cutter. Very good investment for cutting copper pipe and fast.

This is by far one of the best pipe cutting tools out there. This tool works great for those hard to reach pipes up in floor joist bays, behind other pipes or anywhere you can fit it. I use mine all the time, I barely ever pull out any rigid cutter anymore. I keep some spare wheels and extra charged batteries ready at all times. I had one tool fail, due to a lot of water getting inside. Cutting pipes with a little water is fine, I just shake the water out and let it dry and it continues to work just fine. 10 out 10 I’d recommend, get a 4 out of 5 due to the fact its not water proof!!!!

I found it to be a bit beefier than I expected which just goes to show it’s a well built product and does not rely on cheap plastic working components. It cut neatly, quickly and will extend the life of my wrists.

It makes cutting copper pipes so easy. I used the tool for 3/8 and 1/2″ Cutting in a very small projects. It cuts in seconds without any difficulties. If you do copper pipe soldering, this tool is a must for saving time and headaches. I wish there was this tool years ago. The storage case is a plus for tool, battery and charger safe keeping.
