The MILWAUKEE M12 Copper Tubing Cutter is the industry’s first cordless unit, cutting up to 10X faster than conventional tubing cutters. Milwaukee engineered this versatile copper tubing cutter for plumbers, mechanical contractors, and remodelers that runs at 500 RPM for unmatched cutting speed. The included M12 Battery and ultra-efficient gearing allow users to make up to 200 cuts on a single charge. The patent-pending cutting mechanism automatically adjusts diameter to cut Type K, L, and M copper pipes from 3/8” to 1” (OD from ½” to 1-1/8”). The unique rotating cutting head cuts installed copper piping with as little as 1-1/2” clearance, and the lightweight, the inline design provides users with a longer reach and reduces wrist strain when working in confined spaces. A built-in LED light illuminates the cutting surface. The electronic overload protection and unibody construction provide maximum durability. An onboard, real-time battery fuel gauge helps users monitor the charge precisely, so there’s less downtime on the job. In addition to the M12 Copper Tubing Cutter, this kit includes an M12 Battery Charger and an M12 REDLITHIUM CP1.5 Battery Pack.

It makes cutting copper pipes so easy. I used the tool for 3/8 and 1/2″ Cutting in a very small projects. It cuts in seconds without any difficulties. If you do copper pipe soldering, this tool is a must for saving time and headaches. I wish there was this tool years ago. The storage case is a plus for tool, battery and charger safe keeping.

I am a seasoned HVAC tech , residential and light commercial, Bought this yesterday thinking that it would be good to cut copper Tubing for repairs, it does the job mostly well on 1/2” to 1” , here are complaints, will not cut 3/8 OD HVAC copper at all, which is 50% of my use for it, the rest of everything it cut in a timely manner but left filings inside the copper tube that in the application being used could damage internal components of the a/c , If you’re using it for plumbing I can see it being a benefit, going to keep it because it’ll come in handy elsewhere just not sure if Im gonna get the intended use That I originally purchased it for

Doesn’t hold attachments sturdy enough, needs something to brace them in front better. A guide would be helpful too. Not terrible, just prefer the 18 volt and DeWalt designs

I’ve already used this pipe cutter quite a bit. I bought it after cutting my hands on nails sticking out of floor joists with a tight quarters cutter. Just pop it on the pipe and pull the trigger. Had to replace a failed zone valve the other day and the isolation valve wasnt closing all the way. Shut the system off so it would cool down, cut the pipe, and threw a propress ball valve on without getting soaked. Between this pipe cutter and the M12 Force Logic its now possible to do this type of job without making a gigantic mess. Cuts so fast! Love it!

This multi-tool is a great must have if you have the M12 line of tools. I picked up the bare-tool to help with some remolding I’m doing. Great for cutting out the bottom of trim and molding while laying new flooring. I purchased a variety pack of attachments blades and have used for many projects so far. Recommend this item.
