i bought the straight die grinder not angle head it should come with the 1/8 inch collet to not just the 1/4 collet had to buy the 1/8 .other wise great tool

Everything is great except the collet locks down too tight and you can’t get it out when removing a bit from the grinder.

Works good with a flap wheel on aluminum. I bought the straight die grinder as well and use it to de-burr aluminum with a carbide Christmas tree bit. Definitely get the 6.0 XC batteries, the 1.5 batteries don’t last long at all.

as a mobile heavy duty tech , i use this tool a lot , i use it for cutting/grinding , use it with flap wheels or carbides to clean pin bores and roloc wheels for surface prep .It has fast become one my favorite tools, i am not always near power or air so this is ideal,this tool is small enough to get into the tight spots and has ample power to get the job done

I’m in automotive mechanic and I bought this to clean surfaces and it is an excellent tool for the job. You can definitely use some battery life but as long as you have a couple batteries on hand it’s perfect. I would definitely recommend it

I use this in automotive shop. It’s a bit bigger than your traditional pneumatic and a bit underpowered versus a pneumatic one. I do have occasion to grab my old pneumatic to reach in and type places but dread it because of the noise. only other downside is the power, if you Bear down on it during heavy material removal it will stop on you, but restarts immediately after letting go of the trigger. But if it were stolen tomorrow I would buy another one.
