Without having air lines at job sites, this is the next best thing. It kills batteries, sure, so make sure you’ve got some extras. In my experience, the XC batteries are too bulky, so this is best used with the standard 2.0ah batteries.

I purchased this Right angle die grinder when it first came out, and specifically bought it for tire repairs and bead cleaning at work(automotive). Using this tool is very easy, fits in my hand very well, and it is as powerful than my pneumatic angle die grinder. The handle is big in diameter for those who have small hands, but with my gorilla hands it works well. I usually use the “2” setting which decreases the rpms and i have yet to use the highest(4) setting. The light is very helpful, especially when repairing a tire its not easy to see since the space in confined. A really nice added feature.Pros:Long battery life(with 4.0 xc)just as powerful as air tool counterparteasy to use and light is bright for dark placesCon:This doesn’t apply to me but the handle is big in diameter and if you have small handsthis tool may be uncomfortable if used for a long period.

Mostly cleaning wheels & hubs for mounting, some light grinding & cutting.Tends to stall when put under pressure & goes through battery quickly but use the slowest speed which is adequate for what I do and lengthens battery lifeLove the quietness while using.

I bought this mostly to use for stripping old gasket material on the various vehicles/ equipment that I work on. The first time I used it I was not only able to strip the gasket material in no time flat but was also able to use it with a carbide bit to get out a broken bolt. Heck I have even used to to strip paint on some old metal cabinets! I will have to get the larger amp hour batteries as the 2 amp hour only lasts 10 minutes or so. But all around a fantastic product as always! I own sever Milwaukee tools and will continue to add to my collection!
