The M12 inline die grinder features 3-Mode RPM control and a responsive variable-speed trigger providing users with unmatched control with their most common accessories. This die grinder is not meant for industrial 8 hours of grinding.I am an advanced hobbiest, and like the M12 collection because they work great for short periods of time. no cord, no hassle. Sometimes it take 2 batteries to get my job done. I have 6, so its ok. die grinder is great for cleaning up welds, deburring, and carving Lexan Great job, hit the mark.

Great die grinder! Works well with plenty of power coming from the 12v. Batterys last quite a long time, I went thru a 4.0 and a 2.0 cutting off a lug nut on a pick up truck that took about 2hrs trying not to damage the rim. I definitely recommend!

In researching so many offering by so many brands it is often difficult to get all the detail one needs to make an informed purchase. That was the case here for me. This tool is good, but… there is no shaft lock so not only do you need a wrench to tighten the collet, you need TWO wrenches, 1/2″ and 11/16″. They are provided but note they are never shown in the pictures. Second, the multi speed is NOT trigger controlled variable speed. It is a separate selector. Not the best for having full power and control like if it were variable. Oh, well… I guess these details might be buried in other reviews but I thought I’d post them for others to see.

Works perfect, but only for light duty use. The motor is fairly easy to stall and not meant for large material removal. It does well at removing rust and removing gasket material from cylinder heads and engine blocks. Maybe it would be better if the gear reduction was re-geared for heavy duty use.

Excellent tool for the kind of die grinder work I will be doing. Used it first time with a wire wheel to clean off corrosion on a mobile mounted antenna. Worked like a champ and was super easy to handle .

This is a great product that is a good size and easy to use. I used the tool to grind down nails sticking out of a concrete foundation and it worked great. The only to thing is that you will need to buy bits since none came with the tool.
