The 2497-22 M12 Cordless 2-Tool Combo Kit includes the M12 3/8 in. Hammer Drill/Driver and the M12 1/4 in. Hex Impact Driver (2450-20). The innovative M12 Cordless system is designed to deliver the power and torque required for professional applications, in a size that reaches the tightest and toughest places. Powered by REDLITHIUM, the M12 Cordless system offers unmatched power, speed and tool belt portability. Each tool in the Milwaukee 2497-22 kit has a built-in power gauge that indicates the remaining charge in its lithium-ion battery, which charges in as little as 30-minutes on the included charger. These tools also come with a carrying case for added convenience. Cordless tools powered by REDLITHIUM batteries deliver more torque, more power and longer run time than the competition.

Good tools and plenty of power.Great for someone with smaller project or repair items. I purchased the12 volt series for changing cabinet hardware, door knobs. Screen door installation.etc.. . If this tool hs the same quality as the 18volt series i will more than happy.

I have had the m12 hex screwdriver for many years and have used it extensively. The power has not diminished but I could tell the run time was not as long as previous. I was checking out the price of new batteries and saw I could replace batteries and purchase the kit for not much more than the 2 batteries. I have heavier duty drill and impact driver but m12 will do the job in most of my applications. I love the screwdriver so I’m sure the 2 tools will be used a lot. I have not had them very long to know the durability but being Milwaukee I think I’ll know the answer. The kit I purchased is not the m12 hammer drill but a drill driver. In my experience a battery driven hammer drill only works withe small diameter bits in concrete so I did not need that feature. Cannot go wrong with Milwaukee tools.
