This portable drill weighs just 2.3 lbs., which is great for overhead positions. It measures 6.6 in. L, helping you access tight spaces with ease. This reliable tool features REDLINK Plus Intelligence to protect it from overloading and overheating. It uses REDLITHIUM battery packs to deliver more work per charge. I grabbed one of these from my local Home Depot and wasn’t thrilled with the power output and size. I believe this was Milwaukees first M12 Fuel/brushless drill/driver (I could be wrong) so I gotta give them points for developing and releasing a decently compact tool with decent power and features back when they did. Due to it being outdated, and when directly compared to the newer 2503-22, it pales. Again, this probably broke ground when it was released and I can see it being great for the average user but I would skip it and grab model 2503 instead – it’s smaller and better in almost every way.

This seems like a really great drill. Lots of power in a very compact package. However, I ended up returning it because it emits a high-pitched shriek when drilling at maximum speed. My old ears can’t take that stuff anymore. But otherwise I found the drill very impressive. I think most people won’t be bothered by the noise.

I bought this kit because I wanted the free 3/8″ ratchet promotion tool you got when I bought it. I also did have a use for a smaller drill driver as well so this kit with promotion ratchet was perfect and the best buy for everything. I liked the size and weight of the drill also that it came with the case charger and 2 batteries (2Ah & 4Ah). I have not used it a lot yet but seems to be a great drill. 4 stars because the trigger is very sensitive and when storing with the battery installed. It turns the light on. I use a large tool bag to carry and store all my battery operated tools and it gets bumped around and the light comes on. This my be a good option when using it. Taking the battery out is not a easy as some brands but not overly hard either. The ratchet was nice overall but lacked a little torque but was great not having a air hose hooked to the end of it. Overall I am happy with my purchase and are a good edition to my tool assortment.

M12 FUEL 12-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Brushless 1/2 in. Drill Driver Kit came with everything i needed to start using it immediately. It has the charger, 2 different sized batteries one of which has a broader base (its still much smaller than other battery bases) for more stability when you set it down. The drill is much lighter than the rechargeable drill i was borrowing which means it will be less fatiguing on my arm for when im using it for a longer time.I needed to do some work along my front deck securing some wood lattice pieces and the built in light really helped me see better while keeping one hand free to hold up the lattice panel.Although the batteries are smaller (smallest fits in my pocket) they are powerful and held the charges long enough to enable me to switch them out & do what i needed to do to get my project finished quickly. The screwdriver handled me screwing in 2.5 inch deck screws with no problem into the 4 X 4 lumber. Another thing i like is that there’s a wheel near the chuck (sorry i dont know what to call it) that i can rotate to slow down my initial drilling speed until i have sunk my screws in deeper -this has been a problem for me in the past due to my lack of arm strength so im glad it has that feature.The chuck took my extension & drill bits securely with no issues, keeping them tight & it was easy to get them out again. Impressed with the product warranty which is 5 years (-im guessing this is above & beyond the norm) and the 2 years warranty on the batteries.So far it looks like a great set for me to own & im sure it will make things quicker /easier for me when i get around to rebuilding my old shed`s door.

A drill is a drill and the drill works as advertised, I have been replacing my dying other brand cordless tools with Milwaukee M12 tools. This is more about the free multi-tool. I didn’t have one and now I don’t know how I got along without one. Right out of the box ( I already had charged M12 batteries) this thing performed and now I am looking for projects that I will need to use it. Amazing, 5 minutes into using it I send a video of it in action to a friend to brag it up.

Very nice compact drill from Milwaukee. It feels well-balanced in my hand and at the same time the overall weight and materials give the impression I will own this for a long time. The all metal chuck is a welcome change from those that use plastic for this component. The larger 4.0 amp battery lasts a long time and makes it possible to set the drill in an upright position. The smaller 2.0 amp battery, (also included) will be nice in case I use up the larger battery, I can keep going while the other is recharging. Very nice tool and I really appreciate the heavy-duty carrying case.
