Great machine. Glad I have it.

Love this outright quality from Milwaukee. Kinda sad I didn’t get the 12 v impact along with it. However I did get the 18 v hammer drill and impact combo so I’ll do just fine. The 12 v has amazing performance and battery with 4.0 will operate an 8 hour work day flawlessly.

This is a fantastic package sold by Home Depot. When you consider that you are getting 4 batteries (two 1.5 amp, one 2 amp, and one 4 amp), a brushless drill along with the charger. This is everything that I will ever need and it allows me to get another M12 product like a light since I have all of these extra batteries. Unless you are a contractor who needs the extra power and greater capacity of the M18 drill, this drill has plenty of power and the smaller size and weight which was very important to me. Just buy it, you won’t regret it.

I buy all my tools from you guys, I needed the right angle drill so I bought the drill driver with free right angle drill everything works great thank you!

I was looking for batteries for another Milwaukee 12 volt and spotted this. It came with two batteries, a 2 and a 4, but there was a special and they added an additional 4 power pack. So three batteries, two 4 extended and one 2 extended. If I bought the three batteries separately they would cost the same as this deal but this came with the drill as well. The bonus for me is this drill is better than the other 12 volt Milwaukee I have.

Good drill. I got the M-12 because I don’t use it everyday. When I do it’s for home use. Can’t wait to try other M-12 tools.

Milwaukee M12 power tools are very powerful and reliable

I am very much a fan of both the M12 and M18 platforms. I needed a smaller drill to allow me to get into some tight areas. I am very pleased with the power and feel of this tool. Plus it came with two additional batteries, that’s a win win to me. You can not use the word “disappointed” when referring to Milwaukee power tools.

I like the drill very much, especially the half-inch chuck.

Drill is slow to start then power seems a little weak. It might be that I’m use to 20v tools.

Very small (compared to my M18 drill/driver). Plenty of power for 99% of my needs and a 1/2” chuck for big drills. It has become my “go to” drill. And the 12v battery seems to last a L O N G time between charges.

The new Milwaukee brushless motors ROCK! This drill has a precision chuck. As you can see from the photo, it securely grips a 1/16th inch bit and there is NO wobble! That means you can use this for precise drilling of circuit boards and tiny holes for models or fine woodworking repairs. They claim these weigh less than three pounds. So I tested that with a digital scale. As you can see from the other photo, even with the M12 battery installed, it weighs just 2.722 pounds! They weren’t lying! The grip has rubberized moldings and a rounded triangular shape that feels comfortable in any position, and makes aiming the drill easy and intuitive. The light comes on whenever you touch the trigger and it stays on for a few seconds. That helps when working in dark spaces. Just touch the trigger, and the tool supplies enough light to find and insert the bits you need. That’s faster than using a separate flashlight. I see many mechanics are also switching to these cordless drivers for that reason too, since they often must work under hoods or under vehicles where light can’t reach. This light beam is wider than some single bulb tool-lights, so it illuminates the bit from two sides. That casts two shadows which make it easier to see where you’re placing the bit. I find that feature VERY helpful when precision placement is crucial, as when assembling projects and installing cabinets. The battery-life indicator also comes on automatically every time you pull the trigger. It’s on the left side, which is convenient for right-handed users. Left-handed users might prefer that “fuel gauge” to be on the back or top. Zero maintenance is just one advantage to brushless motors. Regardless of brand or price, ALL brushed motors eventually need their brushes replaced. Brushless motors solve that problem permanently because they have NO brushes. Another advantage of brushless motors: they supply steady strong torque at any speed. You can test that easily by gripping any old-style brushed drill as you slowly pull the trigger. Those are easy to stall. That means to loosen a rusted bolt, you must apply full power, and that can cause numerous headaches: stripped threads, rounded bolts, or slipping and damaging a part. The sudden burst of speed with old brushed motors can hurt your wrist and hands too! With this drill, you can run it at the lowest speed and it’s hard to stall! That is SUPER helpful when we must assemble or disassemble stuff without damaging the fasteners or the thing itself. Since I often repair and adjust old machines, I find the steady controllable torque of this driver allows me to apply power gradually without stripping screws or bolts. Also, since this is NOT an impact driver, I don’t hash-up my bits so often. Impact drivers are useful when we are only concerned with driving fasteners fast and don’t care about noise. But when we need control and finesse, a driver like this is better. It delivers full power at any speed without the impact noise. You can apply torque gradually with control so you don’t damage the work, the fasteners or your hands. That’s makes this great for assembling furniture, power tools, tool carts and installing cabinets. The ability to drive fasteners SLOWLY but with POWER and CONTROL makes every job easier. That’s why we see pro mechanics and industrial technicians all gravitating toward this new brushless technology.I have about twenty different Milwaukee brand cordless tools now because Milwaukee has a HUGE selection of tools, and I find their batteries to give great return on investment, especially under harsh conditions of heat and cold. They last longer than my other premium tool batteries, and believe me, I have every major brand! That includes Swiss, Japanese and uber expensive German tools. In my experience, Milwaukee batteries surpass or equal them all for sheer power, durability and run-time. Since tool-choice and battery platform are our prime considerations when choosing a brand, that was the deciding factor for me. The only criticism I can even think of with this tool is the belt hook, and it’s a minor one: the belt-hookThis belt hook works fine but has a pointed corner. It’s not shaped like my other Milwaukee belt-hooks which are rounded and more comfortable. That’s not a problem if you hang it from a pocket or put it in a tool belt. But if you put it on your pants-belt, it can irritate your side. If you must wear it on your pants-belt, a piece of duct tape will pad that pointy thing and protect against irritation. Other than that, this powerful precise driver is now my favorite and most-used cordless tool.

Good power and torque for the drill, hackzall cuts well and is small enough for tight spaces. Battery life unknown at this time, but both batteries seem to last pretty well.

More powerful than my old 20 volt DeWalt

Easily the best purchase I’ve ever made. The set that I purchased came with a ratcheting wrench [which is the reason why purchased it]. The ratcheting wrench itself doesn’t have the greatest torque so you may be breaking bolts loose before you can hit them with the wrench but it easily cut several minutes up to an hour over doing it by hand. The battery lasted 6 hours at the junkyard with no signs of stopping. I was able to get the ratcheting wrench to fit in the case with the drill an extra battery by putting it in an angle and removing the charger.

Plenty of torque and good battery life. I had used a loaner from a friend and found it capable of everything that I needed from a cordless drill so I bought my own. Keyless chuck is a plus.
