When you don’t need M18 power I absolutely love the 1/2-in drive M12 Milwaukee hammer drill it works great for light duty anchoring needs I am impressed with the power that they put into such a small lightweight compact unit

This drill is perfect for my needs! I have found myself moving a lot of college friends in and out of apartments and rent homes and needing tools to break down/ put together furniture and hang pictures up and this drill makes quick work of all of it! It is super strong to handle drilling through wall studs and delicate enough to handle inexpensive or delicate furniture screws. It packs easily in my tool bag when I need to have easy access to it and the hard case is great to store it away when not in use. All in all, this tool rocks! Lightweight, powerful and always there when I need it. I highly recommended this tool for anyone in my situation because moving furniture without power tools is not easy and my M12 Fuel 1/2” Hammer Drill makes quick work of it. 10/10

I’m an industrial maintenance technician and carry this drill all the time I like this drill because it is small enough to carry in my tool bag, yet powerful enough for drilling out broken bolts or mounting some conduit on block. Very versatile and m12 so I can share battery with my die grinder and stubby impact as well.

I use my M12 tools more than the M18 because of how easy they are to use, small & light, this hammer drill does anything my m18 fuel hammer drill does jus a little bit slower, I love it, SO RUGGED to, I drop it all the time & it slides around the truck & it just doesn’t care

It performs exactly how I wanted it to so far, but I have not used the hammer drill yet. The lower torque and small design are reasons for purchasing this tool. Soo far plenty of torque for all the applications I want it for, but not too much. Installed e-track in enclosed trailer, one battery did 70 #14 x 1 screws tight without a problem. Didn’t strip out any. Light weight and compact versus the 18 volt. I own many Milwaukee tools, and use them everyday at work or at home. Another quality product.

This is the second M12 Fuel tool I now own. Impressed with compact size, light weight, power, battery life, clutch and slow start functionality. Perfect fit for my needs. This is my go to product for any new power tools I need.

About the same width of an 18v drill. The shorter length is off the sacrifice of not having a mechanical clutch. The digital clutch is completely inconsistent. I don’t know how this passed testing. Milwaukee should either put a mechanical clutch back in or remove the clutch setting and only have drilling and hammer modes with more speed options. Clutch is painted metal which scratches easily. Clutch ratchet feels odd. Chuck is very loose, possibly poor tolerances. Drill body is about the same size as an old dewalt 760, but is 1-2in shorter.Chuck opening not deburred and is sharp enough to cut you.

I use my M12 as my go to drill as my M18 is a lot heavier the my m12. I almost need an auxiliary handle for the lil power house
