I’ve always been satisfied with The Milwaukee Brand tools. What is most important to me though is that when I order on line the products aways arrive when promised and everything is in excellent condition. Home Depot has become my first choice for online orders.

My only two complaints are.The reverse is a button on top which is not very easy to access when using. The second is something that they cannot get around. And that is that this is an M12 battery so therefore the grip is much wider than I like at the bottom where the battery is. I definitely prefer my 18 volts Handel on the tools. And I have a lot of them.Beyond that I love this tool. I was doing gutter work and it was easy to switch the head around and be able to put screws from the back side with ease. It is extremely light compared to some of my other tools which is nice when I’m putting it back and forth on my tool belt.Overall if you’re looking for one tool that does 3/4 of what you’re needing. This would be a great option. I have all sorts of tools that do specialized things that this one tool does. Don’t get me wrong those tools still get used in serious scenarios. But this usually could be a primary tool for me for a long time.

Perfect assembly/repair drill. Can get into corners and flush with top and sides. Also works as light duty overall drill/driver. It’s the drill I keep handy because it will handle 95% of tasks. Just grab the included bag and go.

Has way more power than you think. I enjoy when I do get to use it. I do service work on woodstove and gas fireplaces so this thing gets into the tight awkward spaces. I love it!

Works good. The only thing is it takes a little getting used to switching the direction.

I wasn’t sure if I was going to use all the attachments that came with it, so far I have used two. I’m a mechanic at a bus company and a lot of the areas under seats and heater areas are very tight. The right angle and offset attachment is fantastic. Powerful yet controllable. I will definitely be checking out the more Milwaukee product

The 12 volt tools are able to do most of the work around the house. Milwaukee has been a very reliable brand, so I have a number of their different tools. This drill is light weight and very useful for more difficult to reach applications.

The location of the electronic rotation switch is a bad solution. During work, he should be at his fingertips, as it is in most equipment, and not in the upper part of the tool that prevents efficient work.

Great tool! The ergonomic design is superb! The interchangeable chucks make this a versatile piece of kit.

Love all your tools

Easy to use. The attachments are great. They helped me get into tight spots a regular power drill or power driver can’t fit. Good torque as well. Another well built, versatile tool from Milwaukee.

The versatility is amazing to include all the different “imposible” areas you can now access by simply adding the 90° attachment. I wish it did have a little bit more torque, but the comfort and ease of use is definitely perfect.

Great concept. Some of the attachments are a bit hard to get on. Other than that, great performance.

Bought as a gift for my husband and he loves it.

just assembled a whole kitchen with this as the primary assy tool and it worked great – mainly a ton of control and options.

Is perfect for any gab

I really like this tool. Aside from it’s versatility, it’s light in weight yet has plenty of torque. I have several Milwaukee cordless tools, and the quality of each never disappoints.

I bought this to fit in tight spaces while running cat 6 cable and needed the right angle attachment. It worked great and i can see so many other uses. Great price when u think about how versatile it is.

I’d like to start by saying that I am a big fan of the Milwaukee m12 lineup. I have a lot of m12 tools and, as a function of that, too many batteries and chargers which is why I purchased the tool only kit. I also own a lot of Festool tools and, as many of you probably know, this is Milwaukee’s response to Festool’s CSX installed drill. I won’t compare the two but for a handful of reasons I returned my CSX and have been waiting for this drill to come out.The Good: This drill has a ton of power/torque in a small, well balanced package. This drill offers a ton of versatility with its included chucks. You’ve got a standard 1/4″ hex chuck. You’ve got an offset chuck which lets you use 1/4″ hex bits while keeping your drill very close to the work piece. You’ve got a jacobs chuck which is, well, a jacobs chuck. Finally, you’ve got a 90 degree chuck which can either work by itself with a 1/4″ hex bit or you can attach any of the other three attachments to it to extend its functionality. The C style drill is not new to the market but it’s certainly new to US big box stores. The LED, belt clip, and magnetic bit/screw holder on the front bar extend its functionality but the best thing about the form factor is the balance it provides when using the drill. When using a drill like this it will take a lot of North Americans a while to get used to their middle finger on the trigger and index finger extended along the side of the drill but once they try that position it will feel better. These drills are definitely not designed to be used with the index finger on the trigger. The so/so: While the position of the fwd/rev switch is in “the good” for me, the fact that you can’t tell if the drill is in forward or reverse when you first pick up the drill is in my “the bad” category. Lots of people complain about the location of the switch but, as you can see in the attached picture, when you hold the drill with the proper grip for a C style drill (middle finger on the trigger) your thumb can trivially work the fwd/rev switch. That said, without the standard fwd/rev toggle switch you can’t just “feel” whether or not the drill is in forward or reverse. When you pick the drill up you either need to pull the trigger for a second or push the fwd/rev button once to get the light to light up and tell you which mode it’s in.The bad: The bag is a joke. I mean a living, breathing joke. They took a normal Milwaukee bag and stuck a bunch of terrible hook and loop straps in it. The “dividers” for the attachments are also attached with hook and loop and are completely incapable of staying put together through use. For me, the drill sits on my bench most of the day so it’s no big deal but if I traveled with it I’d demote the whole tool a star or two for how bad it is. Did I mention it’s bad? It is. To add insult to injury the NAINA (Not available in North America) tool that this follows up has a great case. It’s one of those nice blown plastic ones that keeps everything just so. I’ve included a picture for comparison. The other bummer, for me, is that if you use an XC battery the drill doesn’t balance very well. For the most part, every m12 tool I have is better off with an XC battery on the bottom. This tool, on the other hand, is definitely designed to best complement the small batteries. When you stick an XC battery on it the front of the handle no longer touches the ground and it’s very front heavy. All in all I’m happy this tool is here. I really like the feel and performance of the tool and the shortcomings that I see aren’t enough for serious complaint. I do feel a little insulted by the bag. It’s pathetic. Honestly I’d fire whomever let a tool of this caliber ship with a bag like that.
