This drill was good for a recent project. We used the right angle drive and the offset drive. The drill did torque out on some heavy duty hole saw drilling but got the job done. I’m happy with the drill and glad I bought it.

Its a nice little drill great for small jobs. I wouldn’t use this to drive 3″ screws all day long but it has the power to do so if needed. I think they could improve on the placement of the reverse button. Its located on the top and you need to use your other hand to reverse. I feel this should be on the side for 1 hand operation. Another feature missing is an impact setting, this is just a drill. One last thing is the magnet on the front to hold tools is not very strong, this bits often fall off. If they can improve on those things it would be the perfect 12v drill.

Overall I am very impressed with the drill and its abilities. I’ll break my thoughts down into a few topics.Packaging:- The unit comes in a very nice case that houses the drill, attachments, batteries, and charger each in their own compartment. There are also velcro straps to keep everything from shifting.Attachments:- The attachments are all high quality with metal internals and connectors.- The diversity in types of attachments is great, and they are stackable into different configurations so you can reach oddly placed fasteners. Power:- The torque is what you would expect for a compact 12v drill. It has plenty of power to drill pilot holes, drive 2-1/12in screws into lumber, and tighten fasteners on household items. It will struggle with higher torque applications like driving heavy gauge screws into lumber, but then again it isn’t designed for that.Ergonomics:- The unit is light and fits well in the hand. Build quality is what you can expect from Milwaukee. Gripes/room for improvement:- The light is right above the trigger, which is useless when using any of the offset attachments. It would be nice to have a ring of lights around the chuck like on the 4th gen impacts.- Changing the spin direction is awkward and requires a button push instead of the usual rocker switch above your hand. This isn’t a huge deal, but worth calling out.I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a small handy drill that can reach into tight spaces.

Unless you need the offset drill do not buy this. I am a big fan off Milwauketools but this isn’t necessary. I barely use it.

Perfect for small areas and getting a lot of control on the torque.

My new go to for most drilling and screws. I will only use my M18 impact and hammer drill for masonry, boring hardwood, anchor bolts etc that need all that power. Wish I got it sooner

I bought it to my brother and he love it.

I own many power tools but this one in particular feels like an instrument. It works well, exudes quality and makes me proud to own one.The torque however is quite weak compared to other power tools that I own. Over time it might prove to be adequate for a handyman like me.
