2nd Hackzaw purchase, first one lasted 6 years and finally broke. I used it in my business and used it at least once a day and sometimes twice a day 5 days a week. Milwaukee M12 series of cordless power tools are great

I purchased this as an addition to my kit. I had used Ridgid in the past, and they were good. But the durability, quality and upgrade in performance was well worth it. I recommend and will be purchasing more Milwaukee Tools

I am a professional auto tech and these tools have more options and are cheaper and better then the big 3 tool trucks in my opinion I will only buy these tools from now on

This tool replaces my Bosch PS 60 which I have had for 4 years. I bought the HACKZALL to up grade to a Milwaukee, as I have other Milwaukee M12 tools. I like the HACKZALL as it is brushless and cordless. It has a lot of power and great battery life.

I use this saw daily to cut panels out of fiberglass. Even when used for large cuts, it is efficient with battery life and cuts as quick as a short-stroke saw can. The short stroke is useful to me because I am often in a confined space or have components behind the fiberglass that I don’t want to cut. My only criticism is that there is no way to lock the saw on. It would be helpful for long or curving cuts.

I’ve had this hackzall for about two months now and previously owned a dewalt sawzall. On my experience the fact that the milwaukee m12 hackzall can be operated with a single hand, makes the product worth buying. I do a lot of plumbing service calls and pipe cutting in tight spaces require a tool like this. I am able to get into spaces that I normally wouldn’t be able to with a two handed sawzall. The power that this hackzall has is quite substantial. It never chokes when cutting something too sense. It only takes a little longer. I would say that it’s more powerful than my two handed dewalt 18v sawzall. The only criticism I have is the blade chuck. Already mine got jammed and had to used WD-40 to loosen it. I would like to see milwaukee improve this aspect. I would like to see a lever release rather than trying to spin it with your two fingers. Sometimes when it’s stiff, it’s hard to get a blade in.

It’s smaller then m18 version, use for drywall jobs and tighter areas

I want to leave this review for people like myself who read countless reviews trying to decide between the M18 Fuel and the M12 Fuel versions of this tool for cutting tree limbs instead of a chainsaw. My need was a smaller tree had come down in our yard and needed to be cut up for disposal. The largest diameter of the trunk was around 6-7 inches. This saw got it done with very little struggle, and I was very pleased to not have to deal with a return and having to spend more for the M18. The saw is hefty but small, and insanely powerful. Here it is pared with a Milwaukee 9″ 5tpi wood with nails rated blade that I had on hand. If what you’re trying to cut is any larger than this, then I would move up to the M18, but the value for the M12 fuel saw is insanely high, and I cannot recommend this one enough.

My grandson loves the Hacksaw kit. I still have not received the wrench kit that was out of stock and being searched for. The employees at the Piqua store were of no help. The person at National was great and answered my questions.
