I just purchased this item and have not used it yet, but initial impression is very good. Seems to be a high quality power tool. Home Depot should send these review requests out a couple months after purchase to give user time to test item out.

Excellent tool very handy light and durable I mostly have dewalt tools but I bought this because home depot was out of dewalt and I’m glad for that I’m starting to buy more milwaukee tools now all in all this saw cuts just like a hacksaw does

I really enjoy using this saw verses a corded one. The quick change blade is wonderful. It may have a little less power than a corded but using this verses running a cord is well worth it.

Great power and speed… faster and stronger than Dewalt’s 20V Atomic and 12V Xtreme. Decided to dump Dewalt and go with the Milwaukee. Now I have the 20V and 12v saws.

I want to leave this review for people like myself who read countless reviews trying to decide between the M18 Fuel and the M12 Fuel versions of this tool for cutting tree limbs instead of a chainsaw. My need was a smaller tree had come down in our yard and needed to be cut up for disposal. The largest diameter of the trunk was around 6-7 inches. This saw got it done with very little struggle, and I was very pleased to not have to deal with a return and having to spend more for the M18. The saw is hefty but small, and insanely powerful. Here it is pared with a Milwaukee 9″ 5tpi wood with nails rated blade that I had on hand. If what you’re trying to cut is any larger than this, then I would move up to the M18, but the value for the M12 fuel saw is insanely high, and I cannot recommend this one enough.

This tool replaces my Bosch PS 60 which I have had for 4 years. I bought the HACKZALL to up grade to a Milwaukee, as I have other Milwaukee M12 tools. I like the HACKZALL as it is brushless and cordless. It has a lot of power and great battery life.

Coming from the big dewalt version this is the tool to have! I’m switching all of my dewalt tools over to Milwaukee now

This multi-tool is a great must have if you have the M12 line of tools. I picked up the bare-tool to help with some remolding I’m doing. Great for cutting out the bottom of trim and molding while laying new flooring. I purchased a variety pack of attachments blades and have used for many projects so far. Recommend this item.

2nd Hackzaw purchase, first one lasted 6 years and finally broke. I used it in my business and used it at least once a day and sometimes twice a day 5 days a week. Milwaukee M12 series of cordless power tools are great

I wish their tools still came in the plastic cases that house the tool a battery and some space for attachments

The Milwaukee multi-tool was excellent. Very powerful, I think it is as powerful as my corded multi-tool. Very convenient and have already used it to trim aluminum storm door.

So I am a professional auto tech and I use these tools everyday I have matco 12v tools and use snap on 14.4 tools also and hands down I think these tools are more powerful last longer built better and have over 100 tools in there 12v platform compared to maybe a dozen that the big 3 tool truck company’s have now the stroke is not comparable to a full size takes a little longer but it has a long stroke for a compact and if I didn’t get the fuel version it would be a little more compact but it fit where I’ve needed it the batteries last long time usually can finish all my cutting needs without having to stop in middle of a cut and change batteries I love milwaukee tools and am only buying there platforms from now on and will even be changing some of my matco tools out like my 12 volt matco 3/8 impact for milwalkees compact 3/8 impact it has more power alot more my matco one can hardly get some bolts loose if at all I am now loyal to milwaukee and the price difference for something that in my opinion is better and cheaper and has a better warranty they are my favorite battery tools hands down

Having gotten it when the “project season” was about over I have had only one opportunity to try it, and on that occasion I really liked it. Ask me again after next summer during which it will get a much greater workout.
