I use this for quick modifications to sheet metal and plastic body panels. It is a tough little cutter, does a good job.

Light weight. Easy to change blades. Easy to operate. Would be nice if it had a wood blade too. It has come in handy with some wood projects.

Cutting old rusted bolls easy to handle has the same power as my Mac air cut off tool with one benefit don’t have to tag along the air line

Does a great job of cutting drywall and metal studs. Much quieter than the vibrating tool I used to cut drywall before. I just wish it could cut to a depth of 3/4″ instead of just 5/8″.

Tool worked as designed! I love it! I love all m12 tools!

This is not a tool that I use every day. However, having it in the “Tool Kit” has proven to be quite handy on many occasions. Whether it is cutting new material for projects, or cutting up old things to fit in the trash bin, the Milwaukee Compact Cut Off Tool does the work quickly. The cutting disks are 1/32″ thick and can bind if you don’t hold the tool steady. Take your time and let the tool do the work; you won’t be disappointed!

This little thing has worked amazingly so far. I’ve used it to cut out holes in drywall, and stripped nails I couldn’t get out with a hammer. On the pricey side, but I’d pay a little extra for American Made Milwaukee tools!

This is a handy tool to own

More convenient and easier to use than an angle grinder and band saw. However, wish it could power through 1/8″ steel like a grinder and band saw. Waiting for the M18 Fuel version.

Overall a good tool for what I use it for, cutting corrugated steel. Lacks the power of my M18 cordless grinder but when used correctly, meaning pushed slowly, can cut much more accurately. Metal cutoff wheels don’t last long but that was expected being only 3 inch in diameter.
