This saw is perfect for projects where regular size saws are to big or bulky to get the job done. Plus being cordless makes it even better. Milwaukee tools have always been my choice. If you are a do it yourself type of person, you will want this one .

This little thing has worked amazingly so far. I’ve used it to cut out holes in drywall, and stripped nails I couldn’t get out with a hammer. On the pricey side, but I’d pay a little extra for American Made Milwaukee tools!

Doesn’t have variable speed control makes cutting hard to get started sometimes

Works well. I’m still learning how to use it.

with the dust catcher vacuum attach – this thing cuts through lath and plaster with very little dust. AMAZING! worth every penny.

I like it, but it does have limitations. It would stop while cutting if I moved a little too fast on the metal sheet. Since the design is for cutting metal. That seems a bit odd. The metal I was cutting wasn’t huge. I expected to much out of a 12v tool. It does have it’s place in my toolbox for now.

It met my expectations but you didn’t send enough blades I thought

Yes, a terrific tool. I only wish it came in a “fitted case” instead of the soft tool bag, which doesn’t provide maximum protection, especially for the blade-guard apparatus.

The tool itself works well. Battery life with 3.0AH battery is so-so. The dust shield leaves much to be desired, especially the way the plastic distorts optically, and that on the side which you can see the line you’re trying to cut — on the trigger side of the blade, I couldn’t see the line at all. I haven’t used after the first attempt, however, I keep reaching for the saw itself over pulling down my wet saw for cutting tile.

With the smaller battery, it could barely cut 18 gauge sheet metal. It did cut fiberglass well.

I been looking for a tool like for years

Nice handy tool to cut sheet metal when snips just will not do it. Forward/reverse blade spin is a great option, I suggest that Milwaukee add this option to its M18 cut-off saw line-up. Two minor items that do not affect the performance, but Milwaukee should revise: The depth gauge on the shoe attachment is 1/8” off on the standard 3” blade. The battery charge indicator on this tool is not clear. It must be held at the correct angle and in the correct light to see how many “dots’ are light.
