The Milwaukee M12 FUEL Oscillating Multi-Tool generates the fastest 12-Volt cut speed, lowest full-tool vibration and delivers tool free blade change for faster accessory changes and no misplaced tools. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor combined with an Oscillation Angle of 3.9° delivers cut speeds ranging from 10,000 OPM to 20,000 OPM for faster cutting. The tool design minimizes vibration making cuts more comfortable with less fatigue. REDLINK PLUS intelligence ensures unmatched levels of performance, protection and compatibility. The M12 FUEL Oscillating Multi-Tool has a 12-Setting Dial allowing users to match the speed to the application and an integrated LED Light for maximum visibility. The Milwaukee M12 FUEL SURGE 1/4 in. Hex Hydraulic Driver is the industry’s first 12-Volt hydraulic impact driver. Featuring the FLUID-DRIVE Hydraulic Powertrain, the hydraulic impact will allow users to experience operation up to 2X quieter with less vibration for smoother and faster driving speeds compared to standard impacts. The compact size of the tool and battery provides users with unmatched access in tight spaces and allows for easy transport on a tool belt and easy fitting into a job site tool bag. Performance is not sacrificed despite lower peak torque due to its Longer Sustained Torque that allows the tool to complete core users most common applications. Also includes two M12 3.0 Ah Batteries.

If u have the old one throw it out. This one is a beast in comparison.

This thing is amazing. More powerful than my 20v DeWalt

It very big for a 12v. I didn’t expect it to be that large. Like the 12v hacksaw, it’s the 18v set up for 12v battery. Still everything they mentioned, but I’ll have to get the old 12v for my smaller detail work. Unless your scraping glue off floors I don’t see the need for the 18v, this 12v should cover it.

Much stronger than the non-fuel version!

I’m DIY person and I collect good tools. This Cordless Oscillating tool works very well for me. It has less vibration than others and cuts fast. I would recommend this to everyone.

Great cordless multi tool! All Milwaukie tools are a good investment. As portable multi tool it is easy to handle and work with in tight places. I have several good corded multi tools. Works well high quality and good value.

By far the best multi tool I’ve had and honestly one of the best tool purchases I have ever made. The sanding pad in the kit started to fall apart after little use, but this review is about the tool, not the kit.

I have the older m12 multi and decided to upgrade for a flooring project that was underway. The tool worked perfectly and the floor came out great. Thanks Milwaukee

Went with the m12 so I can carry it around in my backpack, but its definitely not that light weight. Have not used it for an actual job yet, but I have tried cutting some wood around the shop to test it out and I have to say that the tool packs some real power, it sounds and feels like an 18v tool especially on its highest setting, but the vibration in my opinion is high ( compared to my atomic dewalt ), but high vibration is more so on low speeds on highest speed its smoother/better vibration. A must if you are invested in team red. I dnt think the m18 is even necessary with the power this seems to wield. It also does some pretty clean and str8 cuts in wood especially if you know what you’re doing. No regrets.

Extremely easy to use. Fast interchange pieces that are very solid even though this piece is small it pulls “Big Punch”. A definite win for me

Works as expected for any m12 tool!

I bought this after reading all the hype about the new M12 Fuel Multi Tool. Compared to my teal which is a workhorse, this one is definitely faster, no doubts. However, this has a more aggressive cutting angle and brushless motor, so increased cutting speed is of no surprise. What is surprising for a premium M12 tool though, is its non-ruggedness. After 5-6 test cuts on studs, the dust is everywhere inside the tool. Look at the photo! The sawdust is even blocking the LEDs from inside! Is that for real, Milwaukee?? Also, the battery insertion/removal is a pain. This is a tool that someone would intend to use with CP batteries for the compactness, portability, and maneuverability, but there’s no way to do a quick battery change once the CP battery is out of juice. Probably the battery clips are going to fail at some point. In summary, this is a strong tool, but I doubt its longevity because of the poor manufacturing of the housing. Kind of a regret really, and will be going back to my dust-proof and overbuilt teal multi tool..

More than enough power and very little vibration. Milwaukee really hit a home run with this tool.

Has a lot of power for being on the m12 platform. It does not bog down much when being pushed through a cut. It is easy to grip with a narrow body. Blade change over Is nice and easy being tool-less.

It seems to be larger than the previous model, which takes away its accessibility in smaller spaces. Also, the batteries do not last long.

Great multi-tool. Powerful, but low vibration. I have 18V models from DEWALT, Rigid, Kobalt and Milwaukee, this 12V is now my favorite one. Good reason to get into the M12 line, since it comes in a kit with batteries and charger.
