Best tool to have when doing a remodel. This M12 fuel multitool is probably the best tool I have in my entire collection of 18 and 12 volt tools. I was skeptical at first that a 12 volt multitool would perform satisfactorily, but it has all the power you’ll ever need. The included wood blade cut through 2x4s and 1x6s like a hot knife through butter! If you’re thinking about getting one, don’t think about it and go get it!

Used the new M12 Fuel oscillating tool on some kitchen work. Cut through laminate counter top, MDF, and 2×4 material with the included blade with no problems. Seemed plenty powerful even on the lower speeds. Used with 4.0Ah battery.

Milwaukee’s combination of the 3.9 degree oscillation angle and speed of 20,000 OPM (333.3 OPS) makes cutting into and through materials a lot easier and quicker. This has a tool free blade change feature – flip up and push forward the release lever and unscrew the retention bolt by hand, fit on a blade, retighten the bolt by hand and flip the lever back down onto the body. There are 4 magnets in the blade “socket” helping to hold the blade in place while changing blades. The magnets are nice feature, but they do not work with the provided Sanding Pad (aluminum face plate). There is a sliding on/off switch on top of the tool, a speed adjustment wheel on the side and the battery level gauge between the two. A single LED light in front does a good job of lighting the work area. My old oscillating multi tool has a low powerful growl, but this has a higher pitched sound, which at low speeds is a reasonable noise level, but gets louder and louder – at settings 11 & 12 it’s has an annoying whine. Included is a study “Contractor Bag” – it has a handle, but its really only a storage bag, it does not have any retention loops nor compartments – everything is loose and rattles around – I have to remember to not throw away the corrugated cardboard dividers.Don’t bother looking at the Use and Care Manual linked in the “Info and Guides” – it is for the model 2426-20 – the previous version of the M12 tool. The correct version for this model 2526-20 can be found on the Milwaukee Tool website – the correct version is included with the kit of course.

Great multi-tool. Powerful, but low vibration. I have 18V models from DEWALT, Rigid, Kobalt and Milwaukee, this 12V is now my favorite one. Good reason to get into the M12 line, since it comes in a kit with batteries and charger.
