This is one of the most useful & versatile tools I use. I used this tool to selectively remove dry rotted 5/8″ thick Cedar siding on my garage outside wall. I put a piece of masking tape on the included cutting blade, at the depth of the siding, so I wouldn’t cut past the siding. I scribed a vertical line on the siding. I set the speed to 12 (max speed). In seconds the blade made a clean, effortless cut through the siding. I also used this oscillating tool to selectively sand off peeling paint on the outside door frame, preparing it for painting. I used 60 grit which removed the peeling paint very quickly. Prepping for painting has never been easier. All the peeling paint was gone in minutes. This package includes grits: 60, 80, 2-120, 240. I also used this tool, with cutting blade attached, to cut a PVC pipe in the field, at my farm. It made quick easy work of fixing a broken water line. There are a lot of features on this tool. The headlite is VERY handy & appreciated, by my aging eyes. The remaining battery power indicator lightes clearly show when a recharge is needed, before I start the next project. The speeds range from 1-slow to 12-very fast. Wondering which speed to use for a project was easily determined by adjusting the speed, as the tool was running, to see how it performed on the task. The M12 battery never failed to provide all the power I needed & recharged in minutes. I LOVE the super quick blade changing design. I simply raised the quick release lever, which loosens the retaining bolt, made a couple turns on the bolt & removed the blade. A GREAT detail is the magnetic adapter head. Once a new blade is seated on the magnetic adapter head the magnetic head HELD the blade in place till the bolt was hand tightened & the quick release lever was closed. Most of the tool has a non slip rubber like coating, is perfectly balanced & comfortable to hold & work with. It immediately reaches working speed. It includes: a heavy duty carrying case, operating manuals for the oscillating tool, battery & charger. This is a highest quality tool.

One of the best things about this oscillating multi-tool is the quick release feature. I find that it is best to force the latch all of the way open to release the blade. The other thing that I like is the magnetic flange that the bolt tightens into. This magnetic flange temporarily holds the blade in place while the bolt is being tightened. This accessory bolt is attracted to the magnetic flange. The battery and charger are interchangeable with the smaller format compact M12 batteries that I have for my other Milwaukee drill motor, impact driver, and battery charger. The sanding pad is bigger than the sanding pads that I have for my old oscillating multi-tool.

This is another great Milwaukee tool. I have several other M12 tools so this allows me to interchange tools and batteries as needed. I like that this is an all-in-one type set. You not only get the oscillating tool with standard accessories, but also a 4.0 ah battery and a charger. The set comes in a nice convenient tool bag. Once you charge the battery, you are ready to go to work.

The Milwaukee cordless oscillating multi-tool kit comes with a 4.0 Ah Battery, Charger, Accessories and Tool Bag. I have other corded oscillating tools but this tool exceeds the others in the way it accepts accessories (cutting tools), vibration and cutting speed. The tool has a range of speed from 10,000 OPM to 20,000 OPM. It comes with a fuel gauge to tell you the amount of charge left in the battery. When you turn ON the tool the fuel gauge will light up for 2-3 seconds showing the amount of charge in the battery. Typical applications for this tool include sawing/cutting, scraping and sanding. I found this tool to be excellent for cutting in electrical and switch outlets in plaster board. What I like most about this tool is not having an AC cord to plug in or to find an outlet to plug into. When changing accessories make certain that you lift the release level and push it firmly forward over the detent. If not you will not be able to unscrew the accessary bolt to remove or attach accessories.

Milwaukee M12 FUEL 12-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Oscillating Multi-Tool Kit with 4.0 Ah Battery, Charger, Accessories and Tool Bag is a nice item. It has everything needed to do some project out of the box. Charge the battery and you are good to go. It includes a blade for cutting wood, a sanding pad and some triangular sandpaper pads. There is a 60 grit, and an 80 grit, two (2) 120 grit, and a 240 grit sandpaper included. The wood blade made a piece of wood into two pieces in short order. The blade works good and SWMBO is out sanding “as we speak.” I can see I’m going to need some more attachments. The battery is a little difficult to remove for old hands.
